Cost

Meetup doesn't charge individuals to create an account, join a Meetup Group, or attend Meetup events. Instead, every Meetup Group Organizer is responsible for paying Organizer Dues to keep the Group up and running on Meetup. Most Organizers treat this fee like a restaurant tab, sharing it with the Meetup Group members by setting membership dues or charging for individual Meetups. There are three plans (all prices in USD):

● $12/month for 6 months (a single $72 charge)● $15/month for 3 months (a single $45 charge)● $19/month for the month-to-month billing

option

Organizers can run up to 3 Meetup Groups under any of the above plans.

Bear in mind additional costs such as venue hire. Some of these may be offset by resources you can pull in by partnering with a sponsor: a local business or other organisation in your community with whom your Meetup group could start a mutually beneficial relationship
