Race 1 1. PIZZICATO - Hard fought win on his debut in a newcomers race at Saint-Cloud last month. Respected

2. IMOTEP - Third behind Trois Mats in a Class 1 race at Chantilly earlier this month. Can be in the mix

3. ELEVEN ONE - Got off the mark in a claimer at Maisons-Laffitte earlier this month. Tougher test here

4. FAMOUS WOLF - Fifth of six on his debut at Maisons-Laffitte earlier this month. Likely to improve

5. PRINCE KERALI - By Sinndar and is the second foal to run out of a dam that has produced a winner

6. RONAZZA ONE - Fifth in both of her starts at Nimes and Lyon Parilly last month. More required

7. AMARINDI - By Elusive City and is the second foal to run out of a dam that has produced a winner

Summary (1) PIZZICATO is a well regarded colt and lived up to expectations when winning on his debut at Saint-Cloud last month. He is the selection to continue on his winning ways today. (2) IMOTEP was third in a Class 1 race at Chantilly earlier this month so must be respected. (3) ELEVEN ONE and (4) FAMOUS WOLF can follow them home.

Selections

(1) PIZZICATO - (2) IMOTEP - (3) ELEVEN ONE - (4) FAMOUS WOLF

Race 2 1. SOULAYMAN - Best effort to date when fourth in a maiden at Montlucon this month. More required

2. CLASSIC JOY - One win from four starts which came in a maiden at Senonnes last month. Respected here

3. GALIKOR - Seventh of twelve behind Jon Snow in a maiden at Maisons-Laffitte this month. Not ruled out

4. VALDEBLORE - Unplaced in eight starts to date including three in the claiming division. Look elsewhere

5. JUST BOY - Well beaten in all of his four career starts to date and needs to improve on those

6. TAKE OFF - Unplaced in both career starts in Germany and hard to recommend on French debut

7. MARAPUAMA - Broke his maiden tag when winning a maiden at Maisons-Laffitte this month. Consider

8. CHANGOURO BASC - Won a handicap at Lyon Parilly earlier this month and can be in the mix today

9. OA KELBO - Unplaced on his debut at Le Pin Au Haras and well beaten twice at ParisLongchamp since

10. ZAFFARAYA - Third to Replay in a claimer at ParisLongchamp this month. Place prospects

11. SILVER SILK - Still to hit the frame in seven career starts and looks a bit of an outsider here

Summary (8) CHANGOURO BASC opened his account with a hard fought win in a handicap at Lyon Parilly earlier this month after a good effort at Maisons-Laffitte before that. He gets the vote here ahead of (2) CLASSIC JOY who was a maiden winner at Senonnes last month and cannot be ruled out. (3) GALIKOR and (7) MARAPUAMA can also be involved.

Selections

(8) CHANGOURO BASC - (2) CLASSIC JOY - (3) GALIKOR - (7) MARAPUAMA

Race 3 1. YOUMZAIN STAR - Struggled in a Class 1 race at Dax last time out but is capable of better than that

2. BOULEVARD - Off the mark in a maiden at ParisLongchamp earlier this month and a contender here today

3. MONSIEUR CROCO - A Class 2 winner at Strasbourg in April and can improve again from that here

4. MONCAMEL - Won a Class 2 race at Bordeaux last month and should be considered here today

5. JACKFINBAR - One win from five which came on the sand at Wolverhampton last December. Interesting

6. ZIYAD - Going for three in a row after winning a Class 2 at ParisLongchamp last month. Not ruled out

7. CHICHI ONE - Won on her debut at Chantilly in March but has been disappointing since then

Summary After being runner up in his first two starts (6) ZIYAD won a maiden at Lyon Parilly in April before winning a Class 2 race at ParisLongchamp last month. He can make it three in a row today. Recent maiden winner (2) BOULEVARD has plenty of ability and looks the main danger. (4) MONCAMEL and (1) YOUMZAIN STAR are next best.

Selections

(6) ZIYAD - (2) BOULEVARD - (4) MONCAMEL - (1) YOUM ZAIN STAR

Race 4 1. BO PAPA - Won back-to-back Quinte+ handicaps at Saint-Cloud in March. Was raised 8.5 Kg as a result of those wins but ran well when sixth behind Sajjad at ParisLongchamp last time out

2. GREEN BAY - Won a fibresand handicap at Deauville over a 1900m trip on his comeback in January. Two poor performances since then and needs to recapture his best form

3. GOUREL - One success from eleven runs. Good sixth behind Xo in a Quinte handicap at ParisLongchamp last month. Form is good and he can be in the mix here today

4. JACKSUN - Gained both successes from fifteen tries last season and the handicapper seems to have been a bit harsh when giving him a 4 Kg penalty for a win at Lyon La Soie in November

5. QUEVILLON - A good run when sixth here behind Octoking in a Class B handicap at ParisLongchamp last month. A fair seventh in a Quinte there since and has place claims today

6. EMBAJADORES - Won a handicap at Lyon Parilly last November and got a 4.5 Kg penalty for that success. Has dropped 1 Kg so far this year but faces an uphill task today

7. BLUE HILLS - Four wins from thirty one and won a small race at Salon-de-Provence in April. A fair effort at Saint-Cloud after that but a poor run at Maisons-Laffitte last time out

8. BORDER CITY - Had been very consistent since the end of last year before slightly disappointing in a Class G handicap at Toulouse earlier this month. Plenty to do here

9. GO FAST - A triple winner from eighteen runs and had been in blinding form earlier this season with two successes in a row at Cagnes. Not at his best last time out but remains a threat to all

10. BERJOU - Thrice a winner from nineteen including at Cagnes on the sand in January when just scraping home in a claimer. Third and fifth in Quinte races since and is respected

11. GUANACASTE - A close second behind Ascot Angel in a Quinte at Bordeaux in April on first start for new yard. A creditable effort at Maisons-Laffitte last month but this is tougher

12. GOLDEN RAJSA - Third of sixteen behind Yanling in a Class D handicap last month at Saint-Cloud over 1600m. Well beaten at ParisLongchamp this month and steps up in trip today

13. VIEUX MOULIN - A good win on the fibresand at Cagnes in February but has been generally disappointing since then. Showed signs of a return to form at

Chantilly this month and could surprise

14. ZAHID - Well beaten last of eight behind Bella Bijou on his reappearance in a Class G race at Cluny last month. Should improve from that run but will need to

15. BARON - Hard fought win in a Class 2 race at Les Sables last October and ran well when second in a handicap at Saint-Cloud in November. Three poor runs so far this year

16. HAKY - Has not run since January when unplaced in a Class E race at Cagnes. Making his handicap debut today but is likely to find a few too good here

Summary (3) GOUREL was not beaten that far when sixth behind Xo in a Quinte handicap at ParisLongchamp last time out. He had put in two good performances in Quinte races before that can record his second career success today. (12) GOLDEN RAJSA is well handicapped and the step back up in trip should suit her today so cannot be discounted. (1) BO PAPA and (10) BERJOU are two more worth considering. (5) QUEVILLON can make the frame.

Selections

(3) GOUREL - (12) GOLDEN RAJSA - (1) BO PAPA - (10) BERJOU - (5) QUEVILLON - (9) GO FAST - (7) BLUE HILLS - (11) GUA NACASTE

Race 5 1. NOOR AL HAWA - Has some decent form in Group races and is not without a chance here today

2. ALMOROX - Has won his last three races including a Listed one at Bordeaux last month. Respected

3. GLEN SHIEL - Has not run since last October when winning a Listed race at Chantilly. Consider

4. NICE TO SEE YOU - Four successes from forty career starts but disappointing at ParisLongchamp last time out

5. ENJOY VIJAY - Runner up in a Group One race in Germany last year. Needs to improve on recent form

6. MAGNUN BARELIERE - Runner up behind Almorox in a Listed race at Bordeaux last month. More required here

7. VOLFANGO - Not beaten far when fifth behind Enlighted in a Listed race at ParisLongchamp last month

8. GRANTS PASS - Had some good form on the sand towards the end of last year but up against it here

Summary A winner of his last four races including a Listed success at Bordeaux last month (2) ALMOROX continues to improve and will always give his very best. He can get the better of (1) NOOR AL HAWA who has some good form in Group company and cannot be discounted here. (7) VOLFANGO and (3) GLEN SHIEL are also well capable in this company.

Selections

(2) ALMOROX - (1) NOOR AL HAWA - (7) VOLFANGO - (3) GLEN SHIEL

Race 6 1. VANBRUGH - A close second behind Myholydream in a maiden at Saint-Cloud last month. Can go one better today

2. AL FAYZ - Runner up behind Obelos on her debut at ParisLongchamp last month. Not ruled out

3. AL MUJAHAZ - Disappointing in both of his career starts to date and needs to improve

4. TADEEM - Sixth behind Sequilla on his reappearance at Dieppe this month. Can improve from that

5. TAEKWONDO - Showed promise in his first two starts before disappointing in a Class 2 race at Chantilly last month

6. POSTILLIO - Fourth behind subsequent Listed winner Esteve last time out in April at Cholet

7. LAUNCESTON PLACE - A few decent efforts in the UK but plenty to do on his French debut today

8. THE DONALD - Has not run since last September when unplaced in a maiden at Strasbourg. Others preferred

9. LOS ALTOS - Unplaced in a handicap at Strasbourg last time out. Hard to recommend here

10. TENNESSEE SONG - By Youmzain and is the first foal to run out of a dam that ran only once

Summary (1) VANBRUGH improved from his debut when only just touched off by Myholydream in a maiden at Saint-Cloud last month. The Fabre trained colt is the selection to break his maiden tag today. (2) AL FAYZ was runner up on her debut at ParisLongchamp last month and looks the main danger. (7) LAUNCESTON PLACE and (6) POSTILLIO are next best.

Selections

(1) VANBRUGH - (2) AL FAYZ - (7) LAUNCESTON PLACE - (6) POSTILLIO

Race 7 1. UNGUJA - Three decent efforts in maidens so far and could run in to a place here today

2. SAGE DECISION - Well beaten in both starts last year and disappointing again on return last month

3. SENZA FINE - Has run well in all four career starts to date and can have a say here today

4. STAR OF VENDOME - Disappointing in both of her starts in the UK this year and will need to improve on those

5. EXPECTING TO FLY - A promising debut when third to En Dansent at Lion-D'Angers last month. This is more competitive

6. LA MEDICIS - Runner up behind Snakeless on her debut at ParisLongchamp last month. Can go one better

7. LIBERAL ARTS - Well beaten on her debut at Saint-Cloud last November and hard to recommend here

8. ALMOST YOU - Well beaten fourteenth of fifteen behind Style Presa on her debut at Chantilly in January

9. DUSK TILL DOWN - Fair effort when fourth behind Snakeless on her debut at ParisLongchamp last month

10. BALBOA PARK - Fifth on her debut at Baden Baden earlier this month. Needs to improve on that

11. BRAVURA - Seventh behind Snakeless on her debut at ParisLongchamp last month. Plenty to do

12. VERNIE - Two good efforts at ParisLongchamp and Saint-Cloud and can be in the mix here

13. MRS BETTINA - Has shown ability on both of her starts to date and is not without a chance today

14. SPOTLESS MIND - Fourth behind Time To Fly in a maiden at Maisons-Laffitte last month. Place claims

15. TEAHUPA - Well beaten tenth of twelve behind Snakeless on her debut at ParisLongchamp last month

16. HUNZA - By Bated Breath and is the second foal to run out of a dam that has produced a winner

Summary

(6) LA MEDICIS made a good start to her career when runner up behind Snaleless in a newcomers race at ParisLongchamp last month. She had three lengths back to the third on that occasion and looks the one to beat here. (12) VERNIE has had two good runs so far and is likely to be in the mix again today. (13) MRS BETTINA and (3) SENZA FINE can also have a say. (1) UNGUJA is next best.

Selections

(6) LA MEDICIS - (12) VERNIE - (13) MRS BETTINA - ( 3) SENZA FINE - (1) UNGUJA

Race 8 1. PIQUIRI - Will improve from her handicap debut at ParisLongchamp last month and not ruled out here

2. LOOPER - Unplaced in a handicap at Lyon Parilly seven days ago and hard to recommend today

3. HEXIS - Four times a winner from twenty five including at Craon this month. Has a chance today

4. RUBIS QUEEN - Won a handicap at ParisLongchamp in April but well beaten in two runs since then

5. HEAVEN'S DOOR - A little bit unreliable but is not out of of it on a good day. Outside chance

6. GOOD KING - Off the mark at Wissembourg in May of 2017 but has gone six runs without a win since then

7. LOUIS - In good form at Strasbourg recently, winning one and runner up in two more. Tougher test today

8. VALDELINO - Still a maiden after fifteen runs but a couple of decent efforts at ParisLongchamp lately

9. SAMBA PA TI - Reasonable effort in a handicap at Aix Les Bains this month but more required here

10. COPACETIC - Still a maiden after fourteen attempts but is well handicapped at the moment

11. LIE HIGH - Won a Class E handicap at ParisLongchamp last month and is respected here

Summary (3) HEXIS gets a 3 Kg penalty today for his win in a Class G handicap at Toulouse nine days ago. He had more left in the tank on that occasion and gets a tentative vote ahead of (1) PIQUIRI who had some good form last year and should be spot on after her comeback run last month. (10) COPACETIC and (11) LIE HIGH are two more to consider.

Selections

(3) HEXIS - (1) PIQUIRI - (10) COPACETIC - (11) LIE HIGH

MAUQUENCHY - 23rd June

Trainer of the day : Philippe Moulin (112, 403, 603)

Jockey of the day : Yoann Lebourgeois (204, 407, 707, 814)

Horse of the day : Vincenzo Augenaies (315)

Dark Horse : Danika des Forêts (909)

Race 1 1. DAKTARI JIEL - Has just once made any impression under harness and can be confidently disregarded

2. DIABLO DES ARCS - Handy type that is beginning to show improvement. Has more to find but not to be entirely overlooked

3. DRAGON DU BOCAGE - Moderate sort that seldom springs any surprises and is not about to buck the trend

4. DOLLAR DES ANGLES - Has been a total write-off for a considerable period and can expect little or no support

5. DESIROS PHEDO - Encouraged on last start under harness. Is barefoot on the front line but chances still limited

6. DUC DE CHRISTAL - Late starter that has shown considerable potential. Currently in top condition and from the first row looks a player

7. DIAMANT DU CHATEAU - Got back in the game in a similar event at Parilly nine days ago and will not be available at 56-1 this time around

8. DRYAS DU GOUTIER - Totally off the boil this season and has no realistic chance

9. DUC DE LAISSARD - Got the year off to a decent start but out of the picture since and will have few takers

10. DRAGO STAR - Complicated but has bags of talent. Is confirmed at this level and can play a leading role

11. DIAZO - Hardy sort with a good record at the venue. Has two races under his belt and should pick up some stake money

12. DREAM - Has begun to recapture last season's form and given his latest run should be able to get in on the action

13. DREAM SUN - Not the easiest to handle but has merit and on good behaviour could get a look in

14. DEFI DU DOLLAR - Excellent campaigner when going barefoot. Should be fit

by now and even from the second line can win this

15. DIABLO DE FORGAN - Not currently at his most rewarding and given the opposition will have his work cut out

16. DIVIN DU RENOUARD - Has pleased more than once this season but well beaten in last two and must reaffirm

Summary (14) DEFI DU DOLLAR is a completely different horse when racing barefoot and after a much-needed freshener three weeks ago he should be fit enough to open his seasonal account. That said (10) DRAGO STAR has been going good-guns in recent months and with application will be no pushover. (6) DUC DE CHRISTAL benefits from a front-line break and in present shape is hard to envisage far from the action. (11) DIAZO has never let the side down here and after a brace of return runs should be able to get into the game this time. (12) DREAM's form is on an upward trajectory and cannot be discounted.

Selections

(14) DEFI DU DOLLAR - (10) DRAGO STAR - (6) DUC DE CHRISTAL - (11) DIAZO - (12) DREAM

Race 2 1. EROS PERRINE - Untried sort that qualified in fine style early April and if as good on the track can play a part

2. EDITION GOLD QUICK - Sanctioned two for two but is clearly a talented filly and with stride in check should not be far off the mark

3. ECLAT DU TRIO - Unremarkable type that has shown little aptitude for either code and can be passed over

4. EAST RIVER - Delicate sort that should have opened her account at Caen last week and on good behaviour should redeem herself

5. EDEN DE LA PRADE - Late starter that has not been disgraced since his May debut but will nonetheless need to raise his game

6. EXCES DE VITESSE - Has raced respectably since returning to competition but has more to find

7. EOS GES - In the frame in two of the four ridden races he has finished and on good behaviour can complement his recent Laval performance

8. EDEN DU HEURT - Last played any role this time last year and current form does nothing to convince

9. EAGLE FRATELLI - Gave a reassuringly good account at Elbeuf earlier in the month but a repeat appears unlikely

10. ELIXIR NESLOIS - Unexceptional trotter that seldom makes any impact and is not about to change his ways

11. EMINENCE DE VALNY - Still chasing that elusive first win and has no realistic chance this time either

12. ESCOBAR - Quality individual but not the easiest to handle. Is barefoot with Nivard on board though and can play a part

13. EHLOUA DE L'AUBE - Yet to show any particular aptitude for the specialty and chances slim at best

14. EQUINOXE STED - Completely out of the picture in last five starts and needs to reaffirm

15. ELGAR - Serious sort that has yet to disappoint under the saddle. Goes well for Lamy and can again go close

16. ELIOT DU RIB - Runner-up in two of last three. Returns to racing left-handed and should again figure prominently

Summary

(4) EAST RIVER had her debut ridden race won at Caen on Monday before losing her action 50m from home but if Lebourgeois can keep her in stride here she should be able to make amends. (16) ELIOT DU RIB returns to racing left-handed after being sanctioned at Argentan and is expected to play a leading role. (15) ELGAR has displayed decent aptitude for the discipline and with Lamy on board should not be far from the action. (12) ESCOBAR benefits from a Nivard ride this time and going barefoot will do his prospects no disservice. After qualifying well (2) EDITION GOLD QUICK has twice been disqualified but it is only a matter of time before she gets it right.

Selections

(4) EAST RIVER - (16) ELIOT DU RIB - (15) ELGAR - ( 12) ESCOBAR - (2) EDITION GOLD QUICK

Race 3 1. ANNIBAL DU FER - Particularly unproductive trotter that has had nothing to say for himself for some time. Disregard

2. COUCOU J'ARRIVE - Smart consistent trotter that has not been seen out since December. Starts on the front line at a lower level though and should not be ignored

3. BALZANO DU DOUET - Capricious sort that is confirmed in the amateur division but recent sanctions do nothing to inspire confidence

4. BLANC BLEU - Has had nothing to show for his efforts since January 2016 and is not about to pull a rabbit out of the hat

5. ARLINE D'ARLINE - Back in business following a pair of blips and backs up with a reasonable place chance from the front line

6. BEAUTIFUL FORTUNA - Regularly displays a lack of discipline but reassured somewhat at Elbeuf and looks an interesting outsider

7. BEL AMI DES DAMES - Particularly disappointing for past 17 months and can be written off

8. AKITOKY - Delicate type that reassured at Rambouillet on penultimate start before failing to confirm next time. Returns from a spell and no chance at this venue

9. VALENTINO DANOVER - Form has done nothing but regress in recent weeks and offers no hope

10. VIVA DON BOSCO - Mare with ample ability. Should be at peak fitness and with hind shoes off for the occasion looks the main threat to (15) VINCENZO AUGENAIES

11. BALLERINE SISSI - Little to like on paper at present but has ability and on good behaviour can play an active role

12. CHAUD DEVANT - Has just one race in him since the break but has merit and if fully fit could pleasantly surprise

13. VICTORIOUS LOVE - Dependability not his strong suit but is good enough to make the frame if he can keep his action together

14. VAGABOND D'HERTALS - Put in a very good effort to win in the other code at Saint-Malo last month but shoes back on and others preferred on this occasion

15. VINCENZO AUGENAIES - Superb campaigner at this level. Flew up over course and distance eight days ago and can pull off the hat-trick

16. BROADWAY DU BOURG - Unremarkable trotter that has not made the frame since August 2016 and appears to have his work cut out

Summary It is seldom easy to fault (15) VINCENZO AUGENAIES in the amateur division. He has won three of his last four - latterly over course and distance in a better bunch - and should have this in the bag. Of the opposition (10) VIVA DON BOSCO looks the best bet with hind shoes off after a brace of fresheners. (13) VICTORIOUS LOVE switches category here but has the wherewithal to make a big impact. The drop in class should work in (11) BALLERINE SISSI's favour just as the 25m advantage will not harm (5) ARLINE D'ARLINE's prospects.

Selections

(15) VINCENZO AUGENAIES - (10) VIVA DON BOSCO - (13 ) VICTORIOUS LOVE - (11) BALLERINE SISSI - (5) ARLINE D'ARLINE

Race 4 1. FANNY DE L'OISON - Opened her account against the colts on debut over 2225m here late January. Unseen since but Nivard is at the helm this time and can maintain her unbeaten status

2. FLOCON DIGEO - Has demonstrated very good consistency to date. Makes first start on a hard surface but should still acquit himself honourably

3. FORTESSIMA - Courageous winner on debut at Laval late last month. Will have come on for the run and should again figure prominently

4. FLEUR VALLEMBRAS - Well-beaten by (8) FIGATELLIX DU CIRE here early April but has encouraged twice since and can make the first five

5. FAME AND FORTUNE - Delicate but has ample ability and can make her presence felt if she can maintain stride

6. FILOU DU BERGER - Kicked his career off nicely but one-paced in last two. Gelormini gets the drive this time but a minor place chance at best

7. FIONA GENDREENNE - Got off the mark in good order over shorter here a fortnight ago. Lebourgeois has kept faith and can double up

8. FIGATELLIX DU CIRE - Still a maiden from six but regularly in the thick of things. Is confirmed here and in current form can go far

9. FRAGON D'AVIGNERE - Winner of both claiming starts to date. Unraced for two months but still looks a decent element in this better class

Summary (1) FANNY DE L'OISON met no opposition on her winning debut over shorter here earlier in the year and although unraced since she will be reined by Nivard and could get straight back down to business. Failing that the in-form and improving (8) FIGATELLIX DU CIRE could open his account - considering how well he performed behind the good Fakir de Mahey at La Capelle. (7) FIONA GENDREENNE won nicely here two weeks ago and will also have her chances. (3) FORTESSIMA caught the eye at Laval late May and must be retained.

Selections

(1) FANNY DE L'OISON - (8) FIGATELLIX DU CIRE - (7) FIONA GENDREENNE - (3) FORTESSIMA

Race 5 1. BARON DE BRY - Winner of the last two races he has finished but sanctioned in seven of last eight. Hind shoes off though and with Lebourgeois in the saddle should not be underestimated

2. BARAKA VIMAP - Rarely far from the action when behaved. Trotted second to (7) CATALINA DU PONT at Laval and can again make the frame

3. CASH IS KING - Has not once failed to fire in past two months. Caught the eye when second here two weeks ago and should again figure prominently

4. DIRTY DANCING IN - Back at the top of her game in recent weeks. Pleased here before winning courageously at Reims and will be no pushover

5. STAR DI POGGIO - Respectable sort but unraced since last autumn and will need the outing

6. BOCOGNANO - Modest trotter that has even failed to fire in the claiming division recently and has no realistic chance

7. CATALINA DU PONT - Winner of two so far this year. Won at Laval early June and is not incapable of repeating

8. CLASSIC DE MARZY - Regressive profile. Well-beaten here earlier in the month and will have few friends

9. EVENING PRAYER - Has not been particularly productive since leaving Sweden and will have few takers

10. BANDONEON - Last made the frame in November 2016 and is not about to break the mould

11. BRISE D'AWAGNE - Unexceptional mare in both codes and is unlikely to worry the opposition

12. CIROCO D'AUVILLIER - Hardy sort that has already imposed under these conditions. Has done nothing to disappoint under the saddle this season and can impose

13. CUTTY SARK - Very consistent trotter that has not been seen out for two months but is still capable of getting a look in

14. BERLIOZ DE TILLARD - Nothing to like on his formsheet since the autumn and has nothing to offer here

Summary Following a change of scenery under harness (12) CIROCO D'AUVILLIER returns to his code of preference and given how well he won at Graignes last time can expect the lion's share of support. (7) CATALINA DU PONT has won

two this year so far - most recently in good order at Laval - and in similar form can give him a run for his money. The delicate (2) BARAKA VIMAP trotted second to her that day and with stride in check can again go close but may first have to see off the in-form (3) CASH IS KING who left a very good impression here two weeks ago.

Selections

(12) CIROCO D'AUVILLIER - (7) CATALINA DU PONT - (3 ) CASH IS KING - (2) BARAKA VIMAP

Race 6 1. ENORA PAULO - Unremarkable filly that has shown more at a lower level and with shoes on can expect very little support

2. ESPOIR DE FLEURY - Made a modest comeback here early last month. Has had time to freshen up but will still have few friends

3. ESSENTIAL CHARM - Flopped here after having won well at Chateaubriant but with more focus can make amends

4. EXTRA ROYAL - Respectable trotter but has not been seen out for eleven months and will not be given a hard race

5. ERMINE DU LUDE - Looked a decent sort last season but out of the picture in both this term and chances limited

6. ECLIPSE DU PORET - Still a maiden from 22 and latest form does nothing to inspire confidence

7. ELIOT D'AMBRI - Has turned a corner this year. Won his second of the season with consummate ease and a third is not out of the question

8. ELIXIR DU RADON - Just one win from 27 starts but currently in very good shape and should give another competitive account

9. EREBOR - Yet to get into his stride this term but is a quality colt and with application can play an active role

10. ENVOUTANTE DE KACY - Moderate filly that pleased here last month but has failed to confirm twice since and not an obvious choice

11. ETOILE DE GINAI - Regular for the most part. Was giving away distance last time and could go closer on this occasion

12. ESPOIR IDEAL - Enjoying something of a renaissance following a lacklustre seasonal start. Unlikely to pull off the hat-trick but one to note all the same

13. EL COSTO DU BANNEY - Serious trotter that has a lot more to come. Winner of his last three and expected to take all the beating

Summary Since his April debut (13) EL COSTO DU BANNEY has just the one blip on his formsheet and after three straight successes in under a month he looks eminently capable of picking up a fourth here. (7) ELIOT D'AMBRI has begun to make good on his promise and after flying up at Nort last time will be very hard to ignore. Consistency may not be (3) ESSENTIAL CHARM strong suit but a repeat of his Chateaubriant performance would be enough to see him make amends for his recent course and distance clinker. (9) EREBOR is a delicate soul but has ample talent and with application can make his presence felt.

Selections

(13) EL COSTO DU BANNEY - (7) ELIOT D'AMBRI - (3) E SSENTIAL CHARM - (9) EREBOR

Race 7 1. EL LOCO - Winless from 13 to date. Is not without merit but faces a very stiff test here

2. EDGEWOOD - Pleased for the most part last season but subsequently lost his way and has picked up this term where he left off

3. ELMIKA DE VIETTE - Unremarkable filly whose recent form leaves a lot to be desired. Disregard

4. ENRIQUE - Useful trotter but has just one race under his belt since the winter and unlikely to trouble the judge

5. EGALUISARO - Not short of ability but has been struggling with stride problems and must get his house in order

6. EL AMOR DE KA - Useful sort but has failed to confirm his good seasonal bow and must show improvement

7. ERIPREE DU GOUTIER - Occasionally tricky but a quality filly all the same. Won with brio at Laval recently and even against the boys has a good hand to play

8. ENZO D'ARCY - Classy colt that has won three from five to date. Flew up at La Capelle late May and can double up

9. EQUO MADRIK - Gives a respectable account for the most part when unshod but in this company appears to have too much to do

10. ERKIS DELAROUGE - Has demonstrated very good consistency to date. Went close in a good bunch at Argentan last time and even though going left-handed here must still be afforded significant respect

11. ENJOLEUR LEMAN - Sanctioned more often than not but impressed over track and trip two weeks ago and should again finish in the mix

12. ECLIPSE LIGNERIE - Not always the most dependable but a repeat of her penultimate effort should guarantee her a cheque

13. ENORIANA - Showed promise last year but unraced since January and will need the run

Summary Winner of two from three last season (8) ENZO D'ARCY returned with a bang this season. He trounced the field at La Capelle late last month and has every chance of confirming. (10) ERKIS DELAROUGE is another classy colt with a good record and going barefoot for the first time may yet have his measure. (7) ERIPREE DU GOUTIER opened her seasonal account by a good margin eight days ago and even against the colts this time will have her chances. (11)

ENJOLEUR LEMAN left a good impression here a fortnight back and will generate more interest this time around.

Selections

(8) ENZO D'ARCY - (10) ERKIS DELAROUGE - (7) ERIPRE E DU GOUTIER - (11) ENJOLEUR LEMAN

Race 8 1. RAPIDO VA BENE - Good dual-purpose type but better under the saddle these days and others preferred

2. VASTERBO ARTHUR - Moderate trotter that backs up three days after a Reims sanction and not an obvious choice

3. BOIS DU BOSNET - Very disappointing so far this year and appears to have too much to do

4. ALWAYS PERFECT - Ironically-named horse but is not without merit and on good behaviour can get a look in

5. TWIN'S FAIRYTAIL - Showed a different side to himself at Nancy late last month. Has never won in France but can still pick up some stake money

6. CLEMENZA AM - Hardy sort that prefers these less undulating surfaces and drops down the class ladder with a realistic shot at victory

7. ARISTO - Not as rewarding this year so far but has nothing to prove in this category and should not be discounted

8. CHOOMY DELADOU - Good consistent trotter that comes here off a fine Saint-Malo victory and should again figure prominently

9. VIVO PER LEI - Seldom far from the action when applied and barefoot and must be respected

10. AKIR DE MAI - Regular for the most part. Pleased on only start here but nonetheless faces a stiff test

11. CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - Won with considerable ease at La Capelle recently and with four shoes off again can double his money

12. BROADWAY DELO - Tends to show a lot more in the claiming division and already looks outclassed

13. BANCO DES AMAZONES - Has done nothing noteworthy under harness for past 12 months and can be written off

14. PANORAMIC - Not everyone's cup of tea but regularly gives a good account when applied and at this level must be retained

Summary On his first start barefoot since the start of the year (11) CHOCOLAT DU BOURG imposed at La Capelle in a fast time nine days ago and a similar performance could see him follow up here. (6) CLEMENZA AM drops back in class after his French re-entry mid-month and on this flatter surface looks the principal threat. (8) CHOOMY DELADOU is never sent out without a reasonable shout and looks

a player once more. (14) PANORAMIC may not be the easiest horse to handle but he has references at a superior level and if applied will have his chances.

Selections

(11) CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - (6) CLEMENZA AM - (8) CHOO MY DELADOU - (14) PANORAMIC

Race 9 1. DIANA MARINA - Has raced very modestly since returning from the winter break and can be written off

2. DIOISE DEL PHEDO - Has ability but not the easiest to handle. Encouraged at Saint-Malo and if behaved could pick up a cheque

3. D'ELLE DE MARIONS - Delicate but capable. Unraced since last autumn though and will need the run

4. DYNAMITE BADREC - Moderate type that finished a place behind (13) DIVERGENCE here earlier in the month but still has more to find

5. DONA DES APRES - Has been making good progress of late. Is well-placed in front and should not be far off the mark

6. DAME NOIRE PHI - Progressing nicely at present. In better company but will have her supporters

7. DETONANTE - Failed to fire in all three starts this season and can be passed over

8. DRAISIENNE - Excellent campaigner that has won her last five - including on comeback - and from the first row can pick up another score

9. DANIKA DES FORETS - Pleased going into her spell and picked up at Le Croise-Laroche where she left off. One to note

10. DIPLOMATIE - Had been making excellent progress before flopping at Pont-Chateau and the extra 25m will do her no favours

11. DIANE DU COQ - As faithful a servant as they come. Will be fully fit by now and should maintain her good Mauquenchy record

12. DIVINELLA - Unplaced on comeback here earlier in the month but is unshod all four this time and will have her chances

13. DIVERGENCE - Respectable mare that was not disgraced here two weeks ago and will again give everything she has

14. DOLCE ROYALE - Has placed just once in nine starts this year and has no realistic chance

15. DIVA SOMOLLI - Did not get the best of drives here a fortnight ago but is in form and can make amends

16. DARICA - Decent sort for the most part. Returned to winning ways late last month but can expect to face a stiffer test this time around

17. DAME NORMANDE - Blows hot and cold. Stays shod for first start since the spell and can be ruled out

18. DAME DU DOUET - Runner-up in three of the last four she has finished and

a repeat of her Argentan effort could well be enough to impose

Summary (8) DRAISIENNE has shown a completely different side to herself this year. She won well on re-entry at Orleans and legitimately bids for the six-timer. The delicate but capable (18) DAME DU DOUET starts 25m worse off but her form is not in doubt and should be able to apply the pressure. (11) DIANE DU COQ has two races in her and has hind shoes off here - she has never disappointed at the venue and must be respected. (15) DIVA SOMOLLI's tactics were somewhat dubious last time here but with a better strategy can make amends. (12) DIVINELLA got off to a slow start that day but is barefoot this time and can make the first five.

Selections

(8) DRAISIENNE - (18) DAME DU DOUET - (11) DIANE DU COQ - (15) DIVA SOMOLLI - (12) DIVINELLA

4. SHAHEENA - A couple of fair efforts last year. On a workable mark at present

5. CHARLADORA - Won a claiming hurdle at the venue this term but likely to struggle back on the flat

6. NOCTIS MAJ - Still game at the age of ten and is one to consider for the minor placings

7. CITY PRINCESS - Down the field in all five starts this term. Down in the weights but still hard to like

8. MARLINO - Won well over shorter here last time. Has it all to prove over 2400m

9. QUILARO - Disappointing last effort at Marseille but generally runs well here and can be in the mix

10. JARDIN FLEURI - Finished fourth in a modest claimer at Langon in latest and more is required to win here

11. JEEP CHOPE - Pleased on come back run at the venue earlier this month. Player with improvement likely

12. CONTE FLEURETTE - 22-start maiden but not disgraced last time in a condition race and is competitive off current mark

14. KHITTAYA - Long-time maiden but last two starts suggest she could go off the mark anytime soon

15. ADVENTURER - Maiden after 45 starts and latest form does little to inspire confidence

16. CLAUDIA ERIA - Has struggle since returning from the long layoff and looks hard to fancy

Summary (11) JEEP CHOPE has not won for some time but her re-entry race at the venue over a shorter distance was very promising. With the expected improvement, she can get back in the winners box. (1) SHAKSTORMY has been in good heart lately and deserves the utmost respect. Both (13) COMME UNE GRANDE and (14) KHITTAYA are well-weighted and can make the frame too.

Selections

(11) JEEP CHOPE - (1) SHAKSTORMY - (13) COMME UNE G RANDE - (14) KHITTAYA - (2) BABY DES CHAMPS

Race 2 1. MORNING DREAM - Has featured off a higher mark last year but needs to reproduce his best form

2. BAILEYS BALLE - Hard fought win in a maiden race at Pau in January followed up with a fair run in a Class 2. Off since end of March

3. EN DANSANT - Broke her maiden tag on sixth attempt. First time in a handicap

4. WE RIDE THE WORLD - Fourteen-race maiden that is effective off this mark and enters the equation

5. SHAMDREAM - Yet to build on promising debut win in Madrid in six French outings. Hard to trust

6. LOVELY CITY - Reassured on second handicap start at Dax and in similar form, has every chance

7. LILI DU SUD - Won two claimers in a row during summer last season but has come up short since then

8. SALUT BAILEYS - One place in her seven starts and is another that needs to find more

9. ROCKY VICTORY - Long-time maiden but encouraged in last two starts in this division and must be respected

Summary (6) LOVELY CITY gave a solid account at Dax and somewhat reassured following a poor run prior to that. With a six pounds allowance added, the Sogorb-trained filly appears to have a big shout. (3) EN DANSANT took some time to open her account but she did it well last time and can follow up. (4) WE RIDE THE WORLD and (1) MORNING DREAM are two more for the shortlist.

Selections

(6) LOVELY CITY - (3) EN DANSANT - (4) WE RIDE THE WORLD - (1) MORNING DREAM

Race 3 1. FANFOUETTE BOY - Never a factor on both starts to date. Firt run in a claimer but still plenty to find

2. ELDANZA - Won readily on debut but could only managed a fourth place on her first start in a claimer. More needed to win

3. NUIT DU PRINTEMPS - Beaten a long way first time out at the venue last March. Off since then - first run in a claimer

4. OLYMPEA - Has done little to impress in two starts to date and can be passed over

5. MANEKI NEKO - Newcomer by Rajsaman and only betting will provide clues about her chances

6. GRAFFITI BRIDGE - Has been modest in her three starts to date but can be worth a look in on first attempt in a claimer

7. BUBBLE GUM - Has shown excellent recent form in Spain and must be worth some consideration back on french soil

8. MEDIACHOPE - Newcomer by Moss Vale. Unlikely to attract much support but best to monitor in the betting

9. LILOZOIZO - Last of eight first time out at Bordeaux in March. Tries the claiming division

10. TULIPE - Has shown fair form thus far and with experience added, must have claims

11. ABESTI GOGORRA - Two modest efforts thus far and although down in grade today, looks hard to fancy

12. AZURIKA SHAM - Fair form shown so far. More needed to win but could yet play a minor role

Summary (10) TULIPE has been consistent so far and is overdue a win in this division. She gets the vote ahead of (7) BUBBLE GUM whose recent efforts in Spain are good enough to warrant some support here. (2) ELDANZA has not been up to the task since winning her maiden late March but she is definitely worth a race like this. (6) GRAFFITI BRIDGE enters the equation.

Selections

(10) TULIPE - (7) BUBBLE GUM - (2) ELDANZA - (6) GR AFFITI BRIDGE

Race 4 1. DOWINA TROIS - One win from fifteen runs. Consistent for the most part and enters the equation

2. COULEUR FAUVE - Unbeaten in six starts last year. Finished second to (5) DIVIN DE CAJUS on return at Bordeaux. Can reverse form

3. ELZARTE - One success from sixteen runs and seems to have a little bit to find here

4. EUGENE DE TANUES - Won last two of four starts last year but well held on re-entry race. Will come on for the run though

5. DIVIN DE CAJUS - Seven wins from just eleven starts and placed in three more. Big shout

6. ENVOL DE TANUES - One win from eight and placed in five more of them. Has something to find

7. FEELING DU PECOS - A model of consistency in this class of event and should give a good account of himself once again

8. FLANELLE DU PECOS - In the frame in all seven starts last year but has not been in the same form this term

9. FENDUE - Won well at Tarbes on return from the winter break. Things look tougher today but cannot be overlooked

10. TIARE DU LAC - Put in a rare below-par effort in the race of reference at Bordeaux. Expected to show a better figure

Summary (5) DIVIN DE CAJUS won easily ahead of (2) COULEUR FAUVE at Bordeaux end of May but the latter probably needed the run that day and if back on top of her game, she is capable of reversing form with her rival. (7) FEELING DU PECOS is a proven sort in this division and should give a good account. (9) FENDUE is improving and must be worth a look in.

Selections

(2) COULEUR FAUVE - (5) DIVIN DE CAJUS - (7) FEELIN G DU PECOS - (9) FENDUE

Race 5 1. EDENN BLUE - Ran well on both starts over hurdles at Pau last winter and looks a sound winning prospect

2. TSAR DE CANDALE - Consistent performer on the flat. Second on sole runs over hurdles back in 2016. Respected

3. TONIO D'ECUPILLAC - Unplaced on both starts on the flat and pulled-up on both runs over hurdles. Look elsewhere

4. EVVIVA - Beaten a long way on both starts on the flat in 2017. Unlikely to pose a threat on first run over jumps

5. DELA CROIXNOIRE - Down the field in all four starts on the flat last year. Best to watch on hurdles debut

6. CHAMROCK PONTADOUR - Useful over both hurdles and fences but has yet to win a race after 22 starts. Place chance

7. COROLA DE CHAMPCOURT - Pulled-up in all three starts so far. Has been supplemented. Remains hard to fancy

8. HELIE DE POMPADOUR - Has done little to impress in three starts over jumps this term and is hard to trust

9. TIENS BON LA BARDE - Has demonstrated ability on the flat last year. Flopped on re-entry race. First time over jumps

10. AUXIGENE D'AYZA - Has experience in this discipline but has limited ability and others make more appeal

11. FARO DU PECOS - Has shown early promises on the flat back in 2016. Has been sidelined twice since then. First time over jumps

12. DUK DE LA BRUNIE - Useful performer on the flat and looks interesting trying the obstacles

Summary (1) EDENN BLUE has shown enough ability over hurdles last winter at Pau to suggest she can win a race like this. She has not run for some time but is from a yard that knows how have horses ready. (6) CHAMROCK PONTADOUR will make most of his experience over jumps and can stake a claim. Newcomers in this discipline (2) TSAR DE CANDALE and (12) DUK DE LA BRUNIE can be considered too.

Selections

(1) EDENN BLUE - (6) CHAMROCK PONTADOUR - (2) TSAR DE CANDALE - (12) DUK DE LA BRUNIE

Race 6 1. BAROU - Had his career plagued by health problems. On form though and looks hard to oppose

2. MONZALVOS - Useful in the claiming division. Has not run since end of February

3. DIRGAM - Listed winner in his early days. Won two identical races this term. Player

4. SODER - Backward type that encouraged first time out at Angouleme but subsequently flopped at Machecoul in a bumper

5. ANDHERI - Will come on a lot from his re-entry race at Pompadour and is not without a chance

6. GOT RUN - Reassured in last two in claimers and must have a chance if in the same form

7. TAKA TAKATA KATAKA - Has been struggling over hurdles lately and looks hard to fancy on switch back to flat racing

8. CHAROIT - Well-related and lightly-raced filly that reassured in her last start. Ships a long way for this

Summary This looks a very tight affair. (1) BAROU is confirmed over this trip and gets in on the back of two solid efforts in this league so he must have a big chance. Prior to his recent flop at Tarbes, (3) DIRGAM had won two identical contests and there are many reasons to believe he will make amends today. (8) CHAROIT is improving and must be considered.

Selections

(1) BAROU - (3) DIRGAM - (8) CHAROIT - (6) GOT RUN

Race 7 1. FEERIE DE KERSER - Fair debut at Dax one month ago and looks a player with improvement likely

2. EQUANIMITY - Opposition was too strong at Auteuil last time. Will find it easier today and should fare better

3. MA LOUGIE - Cannot be worth any consideration on form and must be passed over

4. ARIN - Has shown little ability on the flat but yard is always one to be feared over the obstacles

5. KALMONIKA - Very well-related newcomer from a top NH yard. Likely to garner a lot of support

6. FAUT SAVOIR - Pulled-up first time out at Auteuil one month ago. Takes a big step down in grade and things can only get better

7. RAFFLES SURPRISE - Newcomer by Sageburg. Bred to succeed in this discipline and should be monitored in the betting

8. BALKOUNA - Newcomers from this yard are generally ready. Bred to jump and has to be considered

Summary Trainer Francois Nicolle appears to have a strong hand in this line-up with the two newcomers (5) KALMONIKA, who is a full-sister to the smart chaser Kobrouk and (7) RAFFLES SURPRISE whose dam is a four-time winner over jumps. Among the horses that have run, (1) FEERIE DE KERSER and (2) EQUANIMITY are likely to garner most of the support.

Selections

(5) KALMONIKA - (7) RAFFLES SURPRISE - (1) FEERIE D E KERSER - (2) EQUANIMITY

Race 8 1. SWEET MAMBO - Encouraged last start at Toulouse. Won off same mark last year and must be monitored

2. PRAGELOR - May have got caught by handicapper but ships a long way for this race. Cannot be overlooked

4. SEVERO - Pleased on return to action and will come on for the run. Can surprise

5. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS - Useful at this level of competition. Returns from a spell but can run well fresh. Outside chance

6. TY DREAM - Won off higher mark last February at Mont de Marsan. Off the boil since then

Summary A winner over course & distance on his penultimate start, (3) WIN BOY has since posted a solid effort at Dax despite the four pounds penalty. He can be retained ahead of (1) SWEET MAMBO who is under a fair mark. (2) PRAGELOR is an intriguing candidate that should not be underrated. (4) SEVERO will make his mark in this grade soon or later.

Selections

(3) WIN BOY - (1) SWEET MAMBO - (2) PRAGELOR - (4) SEVERO

MARSEILLE-VIVAUX - 23rd June

Jockey of the day : Cristian Demuro (303, 401, 505, 701)

Horse of the day : Sajjad (303)

Dark Horse : Ziveri (401)

Race 1 1. ITS ALL CLASS - Eight time winning eight year old and is definitely reliable in this grade

2. HONIARA - A triple winner from twenty nine runs but may have work cut out here for another

3. SEE YOU SOON - Seven scores from fifty nine and placed in last four so bang in form candidate

4. PIERRE PRECIEUSE - Half a dozen wins from eighty one including at Marseille-Borely two goes back

5. CAMAYPAUCHA - Four time winner from thirty one and a fair third here last time out earlier this month

6. VERMIX - Six wins from thirty nine. Good effort here last time and on a dangerous mark

7. SPOTTED CAT - Five wins from sixty starts and in pretty solid form coming in here so has a shout

8. SPIRIT OF TEOFILO - Good strike rate with nine wins from seventy two but has become rather hit and miss at this stage

9. BEYKOZ - Very good hit rate with ten from fifty two but is another that has become unpredictable

10. LE RING - Ten time winner from fifty three and arrives for this in rude health with every chance

11. BISSIN - Just the one victory from twenty one and others look better in here today

12. ALMENARA - Ten time victor from fifty six and the form to give an each way chance to

Summary

Many of these are multiple winners and indeed with above average win hit rates so this will take plenty of sorting out by punters. (3) SEE YOU SOON is just preferred over the others. The selection has been performing well in his last four attempts and is well handicapped. (7) SPOTTED CAT comes in next best with high hopes for both (1) ITS ALL CLASS and (4) PIERRE PRECIEUSE too.

Selections

(3) SEE YOU SOON - (7) SPOTTED CAT - (1) ITS ALL CL ASS - (4) PIERRE PRECIEUSE

Race 2 1. CARDOLAN - Fifteen time winner from well over a century of runs including once this year but maybe not today

2. GREENSHOE - Just the one victory from twenty seven starts and will do well to get another here

3. ISSAUROMA - Thrice a winner from forty four. Third last time but can be hard to figure out

4. VIKING'S - Triple scorer from fifty two and runner up in last two including here. Chance

5. BLACK PRINCESS - She has struck in five from fifty eight but completely out of sorts at the minute

6. MOLESNE CHOP - A seven time winner from eighty eight but is impossible to predict at best of times

7. ADJUDANT CHEF - Dual winner from eighty two. Ran well here last time and has been placed multiple times so far this term

8. BOYWAY CERISY - Eight time winner from sixty seven but may need to drop another pound or so in the rankings

9. ZOR - Five time winner from ninety four and a runner up at Tarbes last time out

10. VALENTINE CONDE - One win from thirty seven and others make more appeal at this stage for this

11. FULL TALENT - Still a maiden after nineteen runs and is impossible to fancy here either

12. ROMANNE - Only the one victory from fifty eight and that obviously tempers confidence

13. LIVING DESERT - A dual winner from seventy five but not even remotely fancied here today

Summary Another open handicap but a pretty string case can be advanced for the credentials of (4) VIKING'S. The five year old gelding has been kept busy by connections all season but keeps answering the call and was a gallant runner up at this venue last time. He can get the better of (7) ADJUDANT CHEF and (9) ZOR with place claims for (3) ISSAUROMA also.

Selections

(4) VIKING'S - (7) ADJUDANT CHEF - (9) ZOR - (3) IS SAUROMA

Race 3 1. MOTABAARY - Eight time winner from thirty eight and has been in excellent form so far this term

2. CAMPILLO - Terrific strike rate with twenty wins from fifty one runs and won first four starts this season before seventh last time

3. SAJJAD - All three wins from ten have come in a row this season and going to be tough to beat

4. SAVOKEN - Eight time winner from twenty five and decent sort but last two efforts a trifle worrying

5. CASHBAG - Four wins from seventeen and could hardly be in better form coming into this after last time out score

6. CREPUSCULEDESDIEUX - Eleven time winner from fifty seven but must forgive a last time tame effort

7. UN BEAU MEC - Half a dozen victories from thirty four and runner up in two of last three

8. ELLERMAN - Five wins from twenty eight and could easily outrun some big odds here

9. LILLY KAFEINE - A five time winner from twenty three and has the overall form to be competitive

10. SA TUNA - Has won three of her eighteen including a Quinte Plus at Lyon-Parilly last time

11. ALLONS Y - Very lightly raced but she has won three of her seven starts and high on shortlist

Summary The Grand-Prix de Marseille-Vivaux and what a field it has thrown together. (3) SAJJAD is on a huge upward curve winning his last three in a row and in the process has been putting up big speed figures so he rates a nap. He saw of (11) ALLONS Y last time out by three lengths and can confirm that form but that one should be second. (2) CAMPILLO and (9) LILLY KAFEINE can earn some prizemoney.

Selections

(3) SAJJAD - (11) ALLONS Y - (2) CAMPILLO - (9) LIL LY KAFEINE

Race 4 1. ZIVERI - Having a very good year by winning twice and running very nicely in Quinte's

2. LUKEN - Off the mark on reappearance in April and a fair effort since then so could figure

3. SENOVILLE - One win from thirteen and a better third last time out. Place hope here

4. COLLEVILLE - Just the one win from thirteen and has little or no chance in this company

5. DANCE COLONY - A dual winner from twelve and easy to forgive only poor lifetime run last time

6. VILLABONA - Off the mark on the last of her five runs which came here and is on the improve

7. CHANTE BLU - Dual winner from eighteen including at this venue last time but this will be harder still

8. ALETS - Two time winner from sixteen and is ultra consistent and in very good form

9. JESSY LOVE - One victory from seventeen efforts but form seems to be tailing off if anything

10. THOUSAND OAKS - Five wins from eighteen and was on a five timer no less when runner up at Maisons-Laffitte last time

11. ARABICA - Off the mark on twelfth and latest start at Cavaillon so confidence high as a result

12. JUST APPROVE - Lightly raced with one claiming win from four tries. Others are preferred

13. RED VANCOUVER - Has a sole victory from eleven runs and others look far more likely here

Summary This Class Two conditions event for three year olds has attracted a nice bunch of runners. (1) ZIVERI is certainly not that well in on the ratings but his form profile does rather stand out and is taken to make the necessary improvement to dismiss the multiple winner (10) THOUSAND OAKS who has been in splendid form. (2) LUKEN and (3) SENOVILLE will be no pushovers.

Selections

(1) ZIVERI - (10) THOUSAND OAKS - (2) LUKEN - (3) S ENOVILLE

Race 5 1. MON JULES A MOI - Placed in four of his five runs and will be favourite to break duck here

2. COMBOURG - In the frame on only two starts which came in March and can go close here

3. SKETCH - Placed in three of his four starts this year and might do so again in this

4. DAY HOPE - One place from two runs and may do better when handicapped down the line

5. DAME ANN - Improved for debut at ParisLongchamp when runner up at Cavaillon but this is tougher

6. MONDURA - Placed once in her two starts and will be eligible for handicaps after this

7. ELUSIVE LOVE - Finished seventh on debut at Salon-de-Provence and will need to step up markedly on that

8. SUN BABY - Unplaced in all four starts and basically has very little hope here either

9. LA MARCHE - Finished fifth on both her outings and is another that can contest handicaps after this effort

Summary This maiden looks nailed on for (1) MON JULES A MOI who has placed in four of his five runs and the only other time was a respectable ninth in a ParisLonghamp Quinte. Any of those efforts would be enough to see him in the winners enclosure here. (2) COMBOURG has decent numbers also and can take second ahead of (3) SKETCH and (5) DAME ANN.

Selections

(1) MON JULES A MOI - (2) COMBOURG - (3) SKETCH - ( 5) DAME ANN

Race 6 1. HE'S A ROCK STAR - Placed in a claimer on debut and then improved to be third at Maisons-Laffitte

2. JOACHIM - Seventh on debut at Lyon-Parilly but needs to improve on that here now

3. SATANIQUE - Well beaten seventh on debut at Lyon-Parilly and that form will not suffice

4. GALANT BELIN - Much better effort from four was when runner up here last time in a claimer

5. BOCCIATORE - Did not come on for debut when only ninth last time so all to prove now

6. PAPPALINO - Dam was a winner and this is her first foal to race and best watched today

7. VANLOVER - Mother appears unraced but both of her first two foals have already won. Interesting

Summary (1) HE'S A ROCK STAR has every chance of breaking his maiden status here after having showing improved form from a debut claiming second at Salon-de-Provence to be a close third at Maisons-Laffitte in a better contest last time. That will be good enough. Newcomer (7) VANLOVER is well respected in front of fellow debutant (6) PAPPALINO with (4) GALANT BELIN for fourth.

Selections

(1) HE'S A ROCK STAR - (7) VANLOVER - (6) PAPPALINO - (4) GALANT BELIN

Race 7 1. AUZOUVILLE - Fifth and then fourth on both outings at Lyon-Parilly and has a shout

2. ROYAL HARBOUR - Ninth on debut at Dax but will need to show better form here today to get close

3. SYNCHRONE - Third on debut at Marseille-Borely and should come on for that experience and go well

4. COOL BABY COOL - Came down on debut at Lyon-Parilly so hopefully can do better this time

5. INGLEWOOD - A record of steady improvement culminating in a second at Marseille-Borely last time and one place ahead of Synchrone

6. COVER BLEU - Dam was a maiden but has produces two winners from four foals to race

7. SANDY DREAM - Dam was a maiden but has produced one decent sort from some runners to date

Summary This closing contest for two year old maiden fillies does not look that string to be honest and of those with form, perhaps (1) AUZOUVILLE might come out on top. She has been beaten far enough on both her starts at Lyon-Parilly bit gave the impression there might be more to come on both occasions. (3) SYNCHRONE and (5) INGLEWOOD are closely matched on form. The newcomer (7) SANDY DREAM might be decent.
