The three of us and were able to get together to talk further about your paper.tells methat hehas had some initialdiscussions with you about this. As expected the paper issolid on the science and will be an important contribution to the literature . However is veryconcerned not only about the strong framing in terms of the Paris agreements but also that thepaper is essentially a policy analysis , which he feels is outside of the scope of(and the DOE Office of Science in general). We all agreed that if you dropped the Paris framing ,the paper would fit within the scope ofyour proposed project work.
