HD cameras, specialized cable, optical and hybrid connectors have played a vital role in opening new doors to the ROV industry

High definition has proven valuable at greatly increasing manipulator skills of the operator, saving both time and improving task accuracy

Additional Benefits of High Definition

• The much increased resolution available from HDTV means that high-quality video inspection and survey tasks can be performed faster and better.

• Full 1080i HDTV video offers the equivalent of a 2MPixel stills image on every single video frame. This allows video inspections to be more detailed, and potentially reduces the need for stills photographic inspection.

• For remote manipulator operations, HDTV potentially allows complex manipulative tasks to be completed faster and more easily, with less operator fatigue.
