Motion passed. Administrative Updates:

● Parishioner Feedback: Enquiries regarding lack of Holy Water receptacles on both sides of doors (new receptacles being made and will be in place soon); Many compliments regarding beauty of Christmas decorations in church; Use of sacristy restrooms during Christmas masses a security concern (perhaps some confusion for those who have not been in church since fully re-opened, ushers will also be alerted to close the door and direct parishioners to community restrooms).

● General Input: Excitement for the School of Music outreach to adults and children through our church musicians.

New/Continuing Business:

● 2020 Parish Council meetings will be held the second Tuesday of the month, except for July and August. Meeting dates: 02/11, 03/10, 04/14, 05/12, 06/09, 09/08, 10/13, 11/10, 12/08.

Commission Reports:

● Christian Service Commission: John Dankert supplied the following data: Soup Kitchen meals served - 234 in November, 159 in December; Giving Tree program – 1,250 tags + 40 generic, 225 workers, $886 for supplies to wrap/misc; 01/27 is 47th anniversary of Roe v. ● Education: Brian Owens advised that the Education Commission will not meet again until February, 2020.

● Worship: Fr. Tom advised that Deacon Denny will provide future updates. A chair is not needed as we have many “leaders” manage various ministries such as music, lectors, servers, Religious Education, and office staff. The Bishop will be present for Confirmation on 02/03/20.

● Evangelization: Fr. Tom informed that a program is being proposed for parents and grandparents to bring children into our faith. Fr. Tom, Betty Beeryman, and Ron Ward will work together on this activity.

● Stewardship: Facilities—Brad Neilson’s report below in Building Project Update. ● Finance: Rich Noelke noted that our parishioners continue to show their generosity. Noelke

supplied the following data: December weekend collections averaged $24,360; Christmas Eve/Day collection = $116,000; Net operating surplus <$100,000; Quarterly CSA refund approximately $700,000 and is to be used to pay off loan #1, pay down loan #2, with the tithed 10% of $70,000 to Christian Service to utilize; Match program still going strong, as are electronic donations with nine new enrollees just after Christmas flyer sent out. Owens asked if any funds are provided to All Saints. Fr. Tom explained that the four parishes intended to “support” All Saints have done so by providing “seed money” at the school’s inception. St. Kenneth, Resurrection, St. John Neumann, and St. Thomas a’Becket each gave a $250,000 contribution and are not responsible to furnish any additional funds for operations. Funds are also provided at $125 per student for Religious education, ads/tables are purchased for their auction and the parish priests may provide items for the auctions as well.

Building Project Update: Fr. Tom gave Brad Neilson’s report:

● We continue to be disappointed by J.S.Vig! In addition to approximately $50,000 in bond funds, we still have retainage of $250,000 and will hold these funds until the job is completed.

● Many issues remain i.e. sound system, locks, electrical work, spring landscaping. Father Tom’s Prerogative:

● Thank you to all parishioners for their patience with the construction. ● Christmas was absolutely beautiful, especially since we were in the new church! Crowds were

very complimentary about everything. Thanked those who made it possible in last week’s bulletin and will thank those who put it all away in next weekend’s bulletin.

● Attended Vicariate meeting today. St. John Neumann selected for Phase 1 of Unleash the Gospel and the Vicar said a Vision Team will likely be needed to create a strategic plan for how to go from maintenance to missionary.

Adjournment: Next Meeting is February 11, 2020 Opening Prayer: Tom Thomas Closing Prayer: Jim Bourdganis Closing Prayer: Tracey Emmanuel Meeting Adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
