GD/BS February 2015 Dear Parent/Carer Residential Trip to Paris 1st 5th April 2015 I am writing to invite you to a meeting being held to provide further information about the residential trip to Paris. The meeting will be held on Thursday 5th March at 6.30pm in the lecture theatre. During the meeting we will provide a more detailed run through of the confirmed itinerary for the visit along with details about accommodation, behaviour expectations and health and safety protocols. You will, of course, be given the opportunity to ask any further questions regarding the trip. As with any European residential trip, all participants require a European Health Card (EHIC). These are available free of charge from the following website and normally take around 7-10 working days to arrive. http://ehic-direct.org I will need to collect these cards in before the trip and would be grateful if you could bring them to the meeting if they arrive in time or if your child already has one. If not available on that day, learners should hand their cards to me as soon as they receive them. All cards will be stored securely in the college safe until our departure and will be handed back on our return. I, along with the full trip team, look forward to meeting you all on the 5th March.
