PARTNER’SPROGRAM

• 4Rtrainingcontinuestotakeplace.Wewanttomakesurethatstudentsarebeingsupportedandthatteachersaretrainedwiththiscurriculum.

• MAPGrowthtestinELAandMathtookplacethismonth.Mathisstillanareaofneed,especiallyingrade5.

• D19ELAandMathinterimwilltakeplacethefirstweekofFeb.• Partnersthatsupporttheschoolareasfollows:

- ParentsasPartnersThisinitiativeisdesignedtohaveparentscomeintotheclassroomduringthelastFridayofthemonthtoshareanyexpertisewiththeclass.Parentscanteach/sharewithstudentsanyculturalexpertisethattheymighthavethroughartsandcrafts,cooking,reading,etc.

- TeachersasLeadersModelteacherscontinuetosupporttheteachersatFCSandstrengthentheirabilities.

- ParentsasTeachersThisinitiativeisdesignedtotrainparentsinsupportingtheK-2classesinreading.Theyhavetoengageinaseriesofworkshopsthatteachesthembestpracticesthatcanbeappliedintheclassroom.

- CBOasPartnersCityYearsupportsgrades3-5inbothreadingandwriting.TheyworkwiththeiridentifiedstudentsthroughWit&Wisdom,EurekaMath,andTestSophistication.

- Studentsasleaders/partnersThestudentgovernmentsupportsstudentswithconflictresolution.Siblingssitwithstudentstoreadwitheachother.

.CEPGoals:SubgroupsaregiventimetogoovertheprogressofcurrentdatawithintheCEPgoal.

• Goal1isdiscussedontheimportanceofthemathproficiencyscores.(ByJune2021,therewillbea10%increasefrom26%to36%,ofAllStudentsachievingatProficiencyLevel(levels3&4),asmeasuredbyNYSMathExamResults.

• Goal2ontheschoolsurvey(ByJune2021,therewillbea10%increase59%to69%ofteacherswhosaythatadultsattheirschoolhave






accessschool-basedsupportstoassistinbehavioralandemotionalescalations(Q23h))SELand4R’sprogramwasdiscussedasawaytosupportteachers.

• Goal3AttendanceandChronicAbsenteeism.(ByJune2021,ChronicAbsenteeismforallstudentswilldecrease10%from29.9%to19.9%,asmeasuredbyATSAttendanceData)Wehaveidentifiedthestudentsthatareinneedofsupport.Ms.Vargasspearheadsthiscommitteeandwillcontinuetomakesurethatthestudentsarebeingsupported.

• Goal4-ELA.(ByJune2021,therewillbea10%increasefrom30%to40%,ofAllStudentsachievingatProficiencyLevel(levels3&4),asmeasuredbyNYSELAExamResults.Wehavedatabeingpresentedtoknowtheareasofstrengthandtheareasofgrowth.Theseareasareidentifiedsothatwecansupportthestudentsandhaveaplanofaction.

• Bi-monthly Attendance Newsletters • Weekly We Show Up • Bi-monthly AttenDANCE • Weekly staff attendance meetings • Letters home to parents who have students on CA rate • Monthly perfect attendance certificates with scholar dollars • Battle of the Classes
