We are in extraordinary times; the outcome remains very uncertain. On Super Tuesday North Carolina Democrats spoke with former Vice President Joe Biden the clear preference for a sizeable plurality. Still, more than 170,000 voters statewide found the message and candidacy of former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg resonating. They, like me, voted for Bloomberg. Their views have earned a voice in the North Carolina delegation. I share many of these values as a lifelong Democrat and a native New Yorker. And one who knows we need to stand together now as a party, united in the singular objective of driving Trump out of the White House.

DONNA DELLINGER LUCKEYMy lifetime involvement in the Democratic Party began for me as a young child alongside my parents. I have been privileged not only to observe but to serve with many wonderful Democrats. My experience progressed from stu�ng envelopes and handing out literature to absentee voting, registering, driving voters, managing Votebuilder, organizing GOTV e�orts, and then on to leadership and committee roles at county, district, and state levels in both Party and individual campaigns. All of these roles were integral not only to my knowledge of the Party, but to my lifelong appreciation of its basic tenets.
