Welcome to where your genius belongsWe’re a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services across 156 countries worldwide. We want you to join our team of 152 000 outstanding professionals working together to deliver outstanding value to our clients.

What is a Chartered Accountant CA(SA)?To succeed in business, you need to ensure that your practical experience is as comprehensive as your theoretical knowledge. CA’s qualify through a process of studying followed by a three-year training contract. It is for this reason that CA’s are so highly regarded and respected, no matter which industry you are considering.

CA’s are required to have specialised knowledge of Tax, Accountancy, Financial Management, Corporate Governance and Internal Controls to name a few, making them very valuable to any business that aims to be successfully managed and controlled.

Qualifying, and then working as a CA requires a willingness to continuously learn, grow and challenge oneself. Leadership, people skills, an inquiring mind, professionalism, integrity and a solid sense of ethics are some of the character traits in which you will be expected to develop and excel as a CA(SA).

What attributes do I need?• Strong communication skills

• Be a team player and be willing to learn from others

• Possess an ability to overcome obstacles and setbacks

• Street smart/ initiative

Does KPMG provide bursaries?KPMG currently has a bursary scheme in place in order to assist successful applicants with their financial needs while studying. The amount varies depending on each individual’s circumstances, but generally fees for tuition, books and residence are considered.

There is a requirement that students on the bursary scheme achieve certain academic requirements annually, and students need to be studying at a SAICA accredited university.

Students who have qualified for, and then accepted, a KPMG bursary are required to complete their training contract at KPMG.
