I look for folks who hold themselves to a high standard and are committed to delivering top notch services.  We also have a very team oriented group at mcaConnect, so being a good team player is a critical trait.  In this line of work, you will constantly be running into new challenges and questions to which you don’t know the answer.  The ability to handle these challenges and find those answers, be it by independent research or asking your peers, is a must have skill.

Please give us a brief description of what you look for in a good Consultant.

Give us a brief overview of what the day to day is like for a member of your team.

We do our best to provide structure and predictability so that you will know what your tasks are for the near future, possibly working on a customization or troubleshooting an issue that a client is having.  However, part of the exciting part of the job is dealing with things that may come up.  It keeps you on your toes, but is rewarding knowing that you will be involved in helping make all of mcaConnect’s projects successful.

We are a very tight knit team oriented group that is always willing to offer a hand when needed.  It is a great feeling knowing that you are working along some of the best in business every day.  This team has more collective experience than any I’ve ever worked with, and the best part is that we pride ourselves on sharing that experience.  I’ve learned a great deal during my time at mcaConnect and I like to think I’ve passed on a lot as well.  If you’re interested in learning from some of the best around, then mcaConnect would be a great fit!  It’s reassuring knowing that you can reach out to any member of the team from Manager, to Director, or higher and get any kind of support you may need.

What’s the culture like within the team and department?

We take pride in providing training opportunities and flexible career paths for our employees.  We have run a successful Development Center of Excellence program which is an introductory boot camp to AX.  I’ve seen graduates of this 8 month program come out with knowledge comparable to folks that have spent 2-3 years on the job.  We’re a Microsoft Gold Partner and Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle (the 5th year in a row) which grants us a very high level of access to Microsoft.  You’ll have the chance to stay on the cutting edge at mcaConnect and be involved with AX7, Azure and whatever the next new opportunity may be!

I like to lead from the front.  I’ve spent many years implementing ERP projects at different levels so I have a lot of experience to offer.  I’ve had some amazing managers over those years and I try to do for my team what they have done for me.  That includes making sure you stay challenged but not overloaded, making sure you have access to the opportunities you want, and making sure that you go to work feeling like an important part of mcaConnect.
