On or abouL ,June 18, 2075, in the District of South

Carolina, the Defendant, ITOSEPH CARLTON MEEK, did wi}lful]y

and knowingly make and cause t.o be made materially false,

fictitious, and traudulent staEements and representations

in a matter wit.hin the jurisdiction of a department. or

agency of the United States, when MEEK represented and

slated to a Special Agent. of the Federal Bureau of

Investigation ("FBI") that he did not know specifics of

Dylann Roof's plan to shoot individuals on a Wednesday,

during Bible Study, at an AME Church in Charleston, South

Carolina; whereas, in truth and fact, as MEEK then and

there weII knew, MEEK,s stat.ements and representations

denying such specifics were false, fictitj.ous and

fraudulent when made.
