The Department of Clinical Pharmacology

✓The Dept of Clinical Pharmacology was established in October 2012 with a mission to excel in

clinical research.

✓The department is mainly involved in Clinical Research including sponsored multi-centric

Clinical Trials, Academic Clinical trials & Observational studies.

✓Clinical Research is carried out in collaboration with various departments such as Cardiology,

Medical Research, General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Nephrology, Pediatrics and

School of Biotechnology.

✓The main focus of research is on the identification of novel biomarkers for the prognostication

of coronary artery disease, premature coronary artery disease and pregnancy induced

hypertension.

Award for Best Published Research Article!

❖Delegates participating in this event will be given a publishedclinical research article by email in the last week of January 2020.

❖A slide presentation giving the gist of the article along with valid critical appraisalneeds to be done by the delegate . Maximum permitted slides is 12. Total time perperson is 10 minutes.

❖There will be a time allotted for this presentation during the conference. A PRIZE willbe awarded to the person with best critical appraisal skills.

❖The participants must be a registered delegate of the conference (EBCCON-2020).

❖Participant should be a PG student in any medical /pharmacy/life sciences. EvenPhD scholars can apply.

❖Participants will be selected on a first cum first serve basis. A maximum of 25

participants will be considered. Hence those applying for this event may register atthe earliest.

Award for Best Critic!

❖Delegates can send their best clinical research article (PDF format) to the organizers thatwas published between January to December 2019, before 14th January 2020.

❖Only original clinical research article will be considered.

❖In vitro/animal studies/reviews/meta-analysis/case report/case series will NOT beconsidered.

❖The articles will be evaluated by some of the best reviewers across the country.

❖ The participant must be one of first three authors or the corresponding author of thescientific manuscript.

❖A PRIZE will be awarded to the applicant of the best scientific article. There will not be anypresentation.

❖The participant must be a registered delegate of the conference(EBCCON-2020).

❖Participant should not be above 45 years of age.

❖Only one person can apply for a particular research article.
