MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT LEADS Now in BASES 48464_12_16 The BASES tool now gives agents the opportunity to contact BlueCross® BlueShield® of South Carolina or BlueChoice® HealthPlan® members they have written who are approaching eligibility, or are eligible, to purchase a Medicare Supplement plan. On the first Monday of every month, a revised file will be posted in BASES, adding new 63-year-old members and removing those turning age 66. When you do a search under your agent code, you will see any active member you wrote who lives in South Carolina between the ages of 63 and 65. Consider this file your personal electronic Rolodex® of Medicare Supplement leads! If you are not appointed to sell Medicare Supplements for BlueCross, you can take the LMS training in My Business Manager SM at www.SouthCarolinaBlues.com. If you attended our fall agent meeting, you are appointed to sell Medicare Supplements. Accessing BASES for the first time Go to: https://client.5wstrategists.com/BASES. Your email address is your account name. The initial password for everyone to the system is: Blue@Bases1 When you log in, you will receive an email with a new multi-letter/symbol/number password. After you log in again with this new password, you have the option to change your password by clicking on your email address in the upper left corner of the screen. The BASES tool now gives agents the opportunity to contact BlueCross® BlueShield® of South Carolina or BlueChoice® HealthPlan® members they have written who are approaching eligibility, or are eligible, to purchase a Medicare Supplement plan.
