Patients come to MCS after mainstream medi

cine has run out of ideas for treating their chronic pain

or mood disorders like anxiety, depression and PTSD.

Medication either doesn't work - or it has so many side

effects that patients won't take it. They are exhausted

Fast forward three or four months to their follow-up

appointments and patients use phrases like "life
