All full-time active employees who are
traveling on the business of, or at the
expense of the policyholder outside their
country of residence or permanent
assignment. Persons for whom coverage is
prohibited under applicable law, or who are
not covered by comprehensive medical
insurance which complies with legal and
regulatory requirements in their country of
permanent assignment, will not be
considered eligible for this plan.
In order for dependent spouses, domestic
partners, and dependent children (up to
age 26) to be insured, they need to be
traveling with the covered person, outside
their country of residence or permanent
assignment. Dependents are not eligible
for Accidental Death and Dismemberment
coverage.

The MBA policy is primary coverage once the employee leaves his/her home country for an
international business trip.

Examples of Non Covered Expenses*:
• Routine physical exams, unless required
because of sickness
• Expenses related to alcoholism, chemical
dependency, or drug addiction

symptoms while on a business trip in Shanghai.
• Her worsening condition, the lengthy waits for care at local clinics,

Online submission is the quickest and most convenient way to request claim
reimbursement. However, in the event that direct payment is not made at point of service,
customers can also fax, mail/courier, or email their claims to Cigna. All registered users of
Cigna Envoy are able to submit claims through the website using an easy to follow process.
Once a claim is submitted online, they can view their submission up to three years, with
access to the actual claim attachments for up to 90 days.
