MediaDirectory

There are two versions for this:

MediaDirectory 2D uses Jpeg files extracted from Autocad drawings. These are stacked in 3D space by our renderer to show routes in a building.

MediaDirectory 3D uses 3DS files converted to a localized 3 dimensional format, allowing true 3D spatial display of the facility.

Both use our proprietary and flexible plotting engine and route selector to allow easy plotting of routes.

Client Server Topology

MediaDirectoryis simple to deploy.

Clients can use Internet or Intranet connections to interconnect clients to the same server.

MediaDirectory is a plugin to our MediaBase content management system (CMS). Contents may be shared across plugins.

Route manager:

The route manage simplifies the task by allowing the client to determine what routes are accessible to their guests. Adding and deleting routes is straightforward and simple.

Least Cost Route Calculator:

Unlike most other wayfinders, MediaDirectory uses a Least Cost Route path, determining distances from the maps ingested to determine the fastest route from an origin and destination.

The engine supports weights, distances and the routed walkways to allow automatic calculation of the best route to the destination.
