For this topic you looked at the representations of YOUTH and YOUTH CULTURE
You looked at some of the debates around the ways in which the mainstream media demonises young people
But you also looked at the ways in which young people can represent themselves online through Facebook.

Question 1A = 30 minsQuestion 1B = 30 mins
Collective Identity Question = 1 hour
Students perform better if they answer the Collective Identity question first
You can answer the questions in any order you like – you will not lose marks.
Make a note in the margin of your timings: write down your 1 hour & 30 minute time slots and stick to them
Sleep well before the exam
Have a good supper
Early night
Turn off your PC, phone, TV one hour before bed (this aids restful sleep)
Read through your paper revision notes in the hour between turning off screens and going to bed.
Eat well before the exam
Have a good breakfast – cereals and fruit
Drink a Smoothie before the exam
It sounds daft – but try to enjoy the exam.
The exam is designed for you to show-off all of the work you have done; all of the effort you have put in.
Examiners are not ogres
They will mark your work positively
They will not mark you down for a ‘duff’ paragraph; they will award marks for good stuff.
