In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
• My media product represents the Middle Class social group. This is because the price is set a standard were most people can afford. Also the way some words are interrupted in the magazine would be able to be understood by the younger, teenagers side of the audience.

How does your media product represent particular social groups?
• My media product represents the Middle Class social group. This is because the price is set a standard were most people can afford. Also the way some words are interrupted in the magazine would be able to be understood by the younger, teenagers side of the audience.

What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and
why?
• The institution that might distribute my media magazine would be Forbes. As they use to only distribute business magazines but now have gone on a wider ranger and now distribute hip hop magazines also.

Who would be the audience for your media product?
• The audience of my magazine would be teenagers from the age of 14-20 year olds. Both male and female. They obviously have to enjoy the hip hop genre of music.

How did you attract/address your audience?
• I attracted my audience by mostly the title ‘Swagger’ this would make the audience pick up the magazine and then have a look at the front cover. I then made sell lines naming famous artists so that would attract them to pick it up. Lastly I used colloquial language so the teenagers can relate to what has been written.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
• To be honest I have not learnt all that much on the technology sides of things as I did use photo shop and power point presentation for my GCSE media projects. But obviously I have learnt some new things like the healing tool in photo shop, it makes certain stains and marks disappear. Also the cloning tool I got used to quite quickly as I used it quite often.

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?• From my preliminary task I feel like I
have learnt the main concept on how to actually make a magazine, The tools have become much more familiar to me, The conventions of a music magazine. I have also learnt how to take pictures from distance; with the correct lighting and close ups.
