The sidebar included on 2nd page of DPS gives readers more information on what they like

Collection of photos/photo wall – shows hectic, fun lives of these people

Pictures are on 1st page of DPS/Article is on 2nd page – gives less confusion and is easier to read

Pull Quote – Shows true feelings of the people and shows most important point from the article

Slug – gives readers extra incentive to read to the end and visit the NME website

DPS MoodboardI want to take inspiration from different magazine DPS’. One recurring theme throughout all of these is that the celebrities featured share between half and two-thirds of the DPS. I might in-corporate something similar for the DPS of ‘Licks’.

• This is a very good photo for the DPS as it shows the normal lives of the three band members and is very casual.

TOC MoodboardI want to take inspiration from the TOC of the iconic magazine Rolling Stone. Most of their TOC’s have pictures on between one-third or two-thirds of the page.I also like the style of the rest of the TOC on the newer magazine. I may take inspiration from this for my TOC.
