This is what Carlos Tavarez, a man from the Bronx, did.

VOTavarez, 30 years old, who returned a rental car at the Newark airport, forgot his bag of heroin that worth around two thousand and five hundred dollars, which he hid under the dashboard of the car.

Trying to get a hold of his package, Taverez called the rental car agency on Tuesday, and claimed his bag, stating that his baby medicine was in it.

VO [Talent]Tavares, who thought his story was credible, was told to claim it at the Newark airport. What Tavarez didn’t expect was that two policemen, who dressed as employees of the rental car agency, were waiting for him to claim the bag. On Wednesday at around 4pm Tavarez was arrested on drug charges.

After listening to this ironic story this is what Brenda Salinas, a student from Kean University said

VO/SOT [Talent]Cue in: “I think the car service did the right thing by calling the police …”Cue out: “… car service did what they had to do so the guy had to go to jail “
