5.How did you attract/address your audience ?

How did I address and attract my audience, I used key factors when designing my magazine that would attract my target market and appeal to them . these factors were image , font , masthead and mise en scene. These are very important factors because they are the things that your audience look for in magazines, these keep them intrigue and reading. Font is in important in a magazine because people tend to get bored when reading a magazine with the same font size because it doesn't seem interesting. This would be very bad if I did this in my magazine because my target market is teenagers who are looking for excitement. You must use big bold text because it will catch the readers eye which is what you want. Image is important because its what your target market will look at and you want to give them something will appeal to. It must be a image your target market will look up too.The will want to read your magazine if its someone they can look u too. My photo will attract my audience because its big and the character both pose in a 'bad boy' look which my target market like to see. Mise en scene is important because what you wear presents yourself so you want your image to be dressed the way it can appeal to your target market.I made sure that my character dressed the same as their target market would wearing jeans , hoodies, jackets , earrings and trainers. Masthead is important because it the focus of your main cover that’s why I had to make sure that it appeals to my target market because its what people will first read on my magazine. My masthead has to be presented in a way that will stand to your target market.I made my masthead big and bold to it attracts my audience , I used black font because it’s a dominate colour and stands out behind a light background which I used.
