INTRODUCTION:Medellin is one of the most

beautiful cities, it is the second largest city in Colombia, it is in the aburra valley..

It Is one of the cities with that has a great economic activity and it has a good tourism moment in the country,

Medellín is important for the country because of its universities, commerce, industries, science, health

services, flower-growing and festivals

WEATHERMedellin features a tropical weather. It is Temperature range it is from 15 to 30 °C

Because of the pleasant springlike climate all year, Medellín is known as “ La Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera”

 

        TRANSPORTATION

The city's public transport system includes buses, taxis, and an urban train the METRO OF MEDELLIN. The Metro connects the cities of Medellín, Itagui, Envigado  and Bello.

Medellín is the only city in Colombia with two airports. One of them, The Jose Maria Cordoba airport that located is in Rionegro, the other one is the Olaya Herrera airport.

 

FOOD AND RESTAURANTSMedellin has a great variety of food

and restaurants. the main meal is the bandeja paisa it is also very traditional the arepa wich made with corn.

Medellin has a variety of reaturants mainly in poblado, palmas avenue, and nutibara avenue. You could find tipycal, international and specialized food.

The city has lot of places, parks and museums. There are places

for the culture, education, recreation and living together.

parade parade, arts, crafts, concerts,

botanical and orchid displays and more.

THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS LIGHTINGThe Medellin River, La

Playa Avenida, Nutibara Hill and other parts of the city put on one of the most spectacular light displays in the world.  Every year the theme changes. There are reviewing stands all along the river where the largest displays are open to the public for viewing.
