Accounting (B.S./M.S.) This dual degree prepares students for successful careers in public or private accounting, meeting the New York State Education Department requirements to sit for the Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accounting exams.

Biology (B.S.) Rigorous training in biological theories, biomedical procedures and environmental studies are the hallmarks of this program. Graduates embark on promising careers in government, industry and biomedical sciences or pursue graduate training in biology, medicine or veterinary science.

Business Administration (B.S.) This program gives students the ability to recognize and capitalize on business opportunities by harnessing the business and economic resources available to them. Medaille’s generalist approach results in a working expertise in all the functional areas of business.

Business Administration – Management Information Systems (B.S.) The program gives students insight into how management, technology and organizational elements work together to provide solutions to organizational problems.

Communication (B.S.) This career-oriented program imparts broad practical and theoretical knowledge of various aspects of communication – television, radio, newspaper, advertising, public relations and digital multimedia. Field experiences begin early.

Criminal Justice (B.S.) The program provides training by working professionals, who prepare students to embark on promising careers in law enforcement. Strong emphasis is placed on criminal law and procedure. Students participate in internship positions that let them experience real job conditions first-hand.

Education (B.S.) Prepare for a teaching career with strong proficiency in academic content, teaching methods, learning theory and student development. Education majors observe teachers in the classroom before moving on to student teaching and inspiring tomorrow’s great thinkers.

English (B.A.) Explore the world of literature with faculty members who are award-winning authors of literary criticism, poetry and fiction. Resulting careers include teaching, law, business, government, publishing, technical writing, journalism, public relations and library science.

Liberal Studies (A.S./B.S.) Design your own course of study by selecting courses that fit your individual interests and career goals.

Mathematics (B.S.) This program enhances students’ information and technology skills by completing a course of study anchored in analysis, algebra and topology. These skills are invaluable for graduate school and postdoctoral research in mathematics, as well as physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, economics, finance and psychology.

Psychology (B.A.) Students receive intensive training for graduate work in psychology, business, human services, law or mental health. It also prepares students for careers in fields that require knowledge of human behavior, leadership and motivation, and advanced social skills.

Sport Management (B.S.) Students interested in becoming sport communicators, marketers, administrators or managers gain a specialized combination of functional business and sport management skills.

Veterinary Technology (A.S./B.S.) Turn a love of animals into a lifetime career. Work with doctors and veterinary technicians. Qualify for positions in veterinary offices, animal hospitals, the pharmaceutical industry, biological testing labs, government agencies, colleges and universities, and animal breeding facilities.

The Medaille Mavericks are a member of NCAA Division III, in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC). Medaille is also affiliated with the larger Eastern College Athletic Conference, which provides additional opportunities for tournament competition.

The Kevin I. Sullivan Campus Center features an NCAA regulation gymnasium, fitness and weight room, and elevated indoor running track. Additional facilities include McCarthy Park and All High Stadium, both just minutes from our Buffalo campus.

If you’re not interested in playing, get ready for a thrilling experience as a Mavericks fan – Medaille has won 12 AMCC championships and made 10 NCAA tournament appearances in the last five years. Up and coming eventsEvery day is an event at Medaille, because it marks another step in your personal growth. And we have those old-fashioned, straight-up fun types of events as well, from live music to flag football tournaments and everything in between.

Here’s our upcoming schedule of open houses, overnight visits and shadow days:

Applying Applying to Medaille is simple: 1. Submit a paper or electronic application. 2. Submit official high school (and any college) transcripts with GPA and SAT or ACT scores.

Medaille has a rolling admissions policy; there is no deadline to apply. As soon as we have the above information, you will immediately receive an admissions decision.

Scholarships Every student accepted into Medaille receives a merit scholarship or award. We offer five competitive scholarship tiers ranging from $4,000 to $11,000. These are determined by looking at overall high school or college GPA and SAT or ACT scores.

Visiting There are a variety of ways to experience our Buffalo campus – a personal tour and interview with an admissions counselor, three annual open houses, overnight visits, shadow days and curriculum nights.

Financial Aid Our experienced Financial Aid staff works individually with families during this crucial decision-making process, developing plans to meet their needs. All students seeking financial aid should be sure to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for additional grants, work study and loans.
