Mechanical Engineer As a Mechanical Engineer you will strengthen our technology development team and you will work on the realisation of a cutting-edge renewable system technology. You will be responsible for construction and testing of several sub-systems; together forming the TidalKite™ Power Plant. SeaQurrent In December 2013, we started the development of an ‘underwater kite’, the TidalKite Power Plant. In short it works as follows, the kite ‘flies’ perpendicular through the current generating an enormous lifting force, which is transferred to a power-take- off system that converts it into electricity. One of the things that sets our technology apart is the deployment potential. The TidalKite is applicable in waters with low velocity currents, and in shallow as well in deep waters. These types of waters are the most common Worldwide. So, we can really make an impact. It is our ambition to develop and improve the TidalKite technology and with it develop projects that will generate clean electricity from the World’s seas and oceans, for hundreds of millions of households. We’re only at the beginning of our mission. We invite you to be part of this exciting journey and offer you an opportunity to build a more sustainable future. Mechanical Engineer As a Mechanical Engineer you will strengthen our technology development team and you will work on the realisation of a cutting-edge renewable system technology. You will be responsible for construction and testing of several sub-systems;

together forming the TidalKite™ Power Plant.

SeaQurrent In December 2013, we started the development of an ‘underwater kite’, the TidalKite Power Plant. In short it works as follows, the kite ‘flies’ perpendicular through the current generating an enormous lifting force, which is transferred to a power-take-off system that converts it into electricity. One of the things that sets our technology apart is the deployment potential. The TidalKite is applicable in waters with low velocity currents, and in shallow as well in deep waters. These types of waters are the most common Worldwide. So, we can really make an impact.

It is our ambition to develop and improve the TidalKite technology and with it develop projects that will generate clean electricity from the World’s seas and oceans, for hundreds of millions of households. We’re only at the beginning of our mission. We invite you to be part of this exciting journey and offer you an opportunity to build a more sustainable future.

when installed at sea. • Test the TidalKite system in real operating conditions at the Waddenzee near Ameland. • Based on the outcome of testing, initiate items that can be improved and work in close cooperation with other engineers

on the conceptual and detailed design implementations.

What we are looking for • You have obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in ocean-, mechanical- or engineering • You have 2 - 5 years’ experience as an engineer • Preferably you are experienced working in Inventor, which is the software we use • You have a hands-on mentality.
