MealJet

Problem

• Bigger problem: – Food delivery is slow and expensive

• Assumption: – Customers can order food on the website– Drivers carry food around and deliver “at the curb”

• Smaller problem: – Drivers are using emails to track orders– Switching between emails and maps is a problem – No way to maintain inventory in the car

• Cares about being paid• Is very time sensitive• Works part time on Mealjet

Needs: • Easy, intuitive and efficient app• Always wants to be aware of inventory and

number of orders

MVP 1.0 feedback

• Map and app switching• Accept and cancel order interaction wasn’t

intuitive.• Accessing inventory wasn’t easy

• “It’s so simple!”• “I still don’t know where to park, it will be nice

if you can show me the closest parking spot”

What’s next for MVP 3.0?

• Show closest parking spot• Embedded maps – To include turn by turn

navigation• No https yet. Need to make the system more

secure• Better user authentication• Test it for large scale deployment.
