Darrington School District: To combat food insecurity, we will continue to provide Grab-and-Go

breakfast and lunch service to any youth in need (through age 18) weekdays throughout the closure.

Meals are available outside the cafeteria weekdays from 11:30am-12:30pm. Adult meals are not

available at this time.

STARTING MONDAY, TRANSPORTATION STAFF will deliver meals to youth on bus routes who live

outside town (in-town students will still need to pick-up at cafeteria). Deliveries will start about 4 hours

later than AM bus pick up times (about 11 AM for first stops). Please stand back a safe distance from

the road, and be at least 15 minutes early. Drivers will make one trip only, and are not allowed to drop

meals off at houses (per state guidelines).

Next week, look for the white DSD vans at your bus stop. We have served over 120 meals the first three

days, and want to serve even more next week! We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work

out the details of this new service. If you have any questions, please email our lead driver Toni Lenon
