The successful candidate must be: An experienced and creative science teacher with excellent communication and inter- personal skills An outstanding practitioner, able to act as role model and build positive relationships with all staff and pupils, with exemplary behaviour management skills A highly motivated classroom practitioner with an excellent working knowledge of the Science Programmes of Study, who excels in practical science, planning, teaching and target setting A team player who is able to motivate, lead, support and challenge others A teacher with the creativity and drive to contribute to the development of our school and with the vision and enthusiasm to support Meade Hill in becoming an outstanding provision for children with SEBD A teacher committed to the inclusion of children with special educational needs, with a proven track record in helping the most challenging of pupils improve their behaviour and achieve academically An experienced practitioner who understands the importance of providing a safe environment for pupils to learn, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in their care Do you have a passion for science and an ability and willingness to teach another subject? Can you fully participate in school life; be pro-active, flexible and highly organised, staying calm under pressure whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and confidentially?
