EXCEL FOCUS Mead Middle School is an EXCEL focus school (Extra-Curricular Engagement and Learning) and believes that students who get involved and are connected to the school are more likely to succeed.

The work around getting kids involved throughout school has helped to support the success. The EXCEL program extends student learning and the sense of belonging by adding several programs outside the instructional day. This involvement improves the academic focus during the school day and allows the school to focus on providing a well rounded learning experience.
