A distinct yet affordable option to reflect your unique

expression is available with our MDF Door line. Creating

the illusion of stile and rail construction, it’s manufactured

with the strength and stability of one-piece solid panel

construction and provides a blank canvas ready to be

manufactured to your distinctive design and project

    requirements.

We have hundreds of designs to choose from or express

your own creativity by designing your own unique face

design. MDF doors are a perfect fit for the Hospitality,

Health Care (Assisted-Living) or Multi-Family markets.

Doors are primed and ready to paint or factory-painted

to the color of your choice and are available with fire

ratings from 20 through 90 minutes, in neutral or positive

    pressure construction.

  • A L L A B O U T M D FMedium-density fiberboard is a

    wood product engineered from hard

    or softwood fibers combined with

    water-resistant binding materials

that are then subjected to extreme

    temperature and pressure to form

    durable, solid panels.

MDF construction results in a strong

and dense material, with a smooth

    consistent appearance.

W h a t ’s Yo u r D e s i g n ?With MDF doors you have the ability to mimic the design of a traditional raised panel door, the clean lines of a flat panel or create a custom look all your own. Our sophisticated computer aided design ensures your exact details can be achieved consistently from door to door. Be inspired to create the door to complement your project’s interior - from traditional and stately to sleek and modern.

Evoke the traditional style of raised panel

    doors with architecturally correct square

corners or historic arches in a solid panel

    construction. Or, for modern touch,

    incorporate circles into your design.

  • SOLID PANEL CONSTRUCTION

Doors are built from a cut-to-size solid composite panel with routed profiles creating the illusion of stile and rail construction with no visible stile and rail joints. A piece of face-grain MDF is inserted into both edges, providing a solid, non-splitting hinge base for superior performance.

    STILE & RAIL CONSTRUCTION

Stile & Rail (CBPN) doors are made from the same composite materials as solid panel doors but are fabricated piece by piece with mortise and tenon- joinery as a true stile and rail door.

    Louver Construction:

•Louver units are four-sided frames with the uprights dadoed to receive false or vented louvers.•Louvers are glued into frames with type-1 waterproof adhesives and pinned as needed•Louver units are 1/4” less in depth than the door thickness on CB, CBPN, CBHT and CBSF series to create a 1/8” reveal or ledge on either side of the door.

Vented and False louvers appear the same from surface. You can specify a door with Vented louvers when ventilation is required, and specify a matching door with a False louver when additional privacy is desired.

D o o r C a r eDoors must be stored flat and fully protected against humidity. When doors are moved, they must be lifted, eliminating any sliding of one door on another.

Please take note when field fitting doors. Care should be taken to not throw off balance of door or affect non-rated or fire-rated assemblies. Contact factory for any questions or concerns.

For factory primed doors, a good quality sealant must be applied to the top and bottom door edges, prior to final finishing, to minimize humidity absorption. Any field trimming of door to fit opening must also be sealed prior to final finish. Special attention must be given to finish all six sides of the door, including the top and bottom of the door. Doors must be finished on all sides to have a valid warranty.
