OUR HISTORY •PIM was established in 1989 with the first blow molding machine to produce 1M bottles per month (bpm)
•Continuous growth from 1991 thru 1998 in the PIM capacity from 1M to 24M bpm
•PB starts operations in blow molding in 1996
•Injection molding was incorporated in PB in 1998
•PIM incorporates injection molding in 2000
•PIM starts industrial blow molding in 2003
•Late 2011 early 2012 the board of directors of PIM and PB
came up with an agreement to venture and integrate in a
single company the operations in the former PIM facilities and
with this MD Manufacturing is established on May 2012
SHORT TERM STRATEGY
Consolidate the PIM and PB cultures in the new MD Manufacturing culture
Grow the productivity of the different production lines
Raise the quality standard to offer better products to our markets
Reduce delivery times
Promote MD Manufacturing in other markets to get a solid base of customers
Work with continuous improvement of our variables
Get the certification of our Quality Assurance System (QAS) Objective
MEDIUM TERM STRATEGY •Have 1/3 of the sales on each of the following markets: automotive, food and dairy, general industry
•Raise sales and profits thru volume and efficiency
•Replace part of current equipment for more adequate according to our new market share
•Become a company to be proud of being part of it
LONG TERM STRATEGY •Become a reliable source of quality, service and development thru plastic components
•Be leaders in the Bajio as Tier 2, Tier 3 for automotive plastic
components
•Have other plants to satisfy the demand of current or future
customers •Consolidate the MD Manufacturing culture to be reflected not
only in plant but in our community thru our talented people
