. . . the principle

Faster – short delivery timesLess expensive – standardizedcomponentsMore flexible – simple final installationMore efficient – top performancedata

Weiss Umwelttechnik has extendedits range of walk-in temperatureand climate test chambers. Despitethe standardized construction, we

are now in a position to fulfil exten-sive customer requirements withthe new  Weiss M.C.S. series.

The Weiss M.C.S. walk-in testchamber comprises a machine unitand a test chamber. The machineunit is assembled and tested in theassembly plant of Weiss Umwelt-technik GmbH before it is connect-

ed to the on-site test chamber. It isthen calibrated and commissioned.

The test chamber is available in5 standardized sizes (8, 12, 17, 22,27 m3). The machine unit compris-es a fan, refrigeration unit, humidi-fication and heating equipment, switch cabinet and system control.Depending on the customer’s re-quirements, we can configure thecomplete system.

Installing and commissioning

The complete system is installedand commissioned on site. Theconnection parts of the test cham-ber are attached to the machineunit (Fig. 1). The prepared chamberfloor can be seen in the illustration. When the machine unit and thechamber floor have been connect-ed and aligned, the side panels of the chamber and ceiling elements(Fig. 2) can be mounted. The nec-essary electric consumers are con-nected in the switch cabinet e.g.

internal chamber lighting (Fig. 3)and the installed system commis-sioned (Fig. 4).A period of 1 – 3 workdays is re-quired for installing and commis-sioning a Weiss M.C.S. system.
