What is mClassifieds?

mClassifieds is a Mobile Classified service, to meet thesellers and buyers

The service works on SMS

Therere 2 modes of Service Operations

1. A Seller with some item to sell can publish that item under aClassified Category and a potential buyer can search thecategories for such classified items to purchase

2. A Seller can register for some category to receive requests

from potential buyers. When a potential buyer inquire aboutsuch product, the seller will get the inquiry details on SMS

Operation 1 - Seller

A seller selects a category where to publish, provide asmall description about item to sell and send a SMS to

the mClassified platform

The platform will analyze the content of the publishedSMS and fill its database with the relevant item to sell

Platform will allow sellers to create their owncategories, which are not available by sending SMS

Sellers can update/delete their published items

Sample SMS command format for Seller:

sell nokia E72 phone 6 months used in mint condition to

sell at the highest price. Expected $200

The intelligent search engine will identify the words inthe SMS command to sell and add the Classified Ad tothe relevant categories

The words in the beginning has a higher weight whenselecting categories

A potential buyer can specify a category can retrievethe items in that category

The mClassified platform will send a summary of itemsavailable with their item code

The potential buyer can send a SMS command andretrieve the full details of the item, by sending the itemcode



Sample SMS command format for Buyer:

search phone nokia e72

The intelligent search engine will identify the mostclosest matches of items in the Classified database

The platform will select the 5 most relevant classifiedand send their summary in a list of items with theiritem IDs



Sample Classified item list:

17345: nokia E72 phone 6 months used

43114: nokia e72 brand new

34226: e72 nokia refurbished

The starting number in each line is the Item ID

The potential buyer can send a SMS command canget more details of the Item

A Seller selects a category to register to receiveservice/product Alerts

Eg.

register realty

In this example a Seller register to receive any realtyinquiry such as looking for a house, land or sale of ahouse, land, etc



A Buyer can send an inquiry with the requirement andselecting a Category as below

Eg.

inquire realty Wanted a house with 3 BR, garden, 2 pakinggarage for less than $1,500,000 in Landon

Once this inquiry is received, the mClassified platformwill generate inquiry alerts to all the registered Sellersas below.
