MCC2I is an expert company in the maintenance of concrete, brick or metal industrial chimneys up to 300 metres in height.Established in 1996, the company provides expertise to industrials in diverse activities such as: petrochemicals, glass, cement, incineration, district heating, etc., across Europe but also in North and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The work that our teams undertake ranges from chimney surveys and repairs, to achieving compliance with standards and also demolition and new-build replacements.

MCC2I is committed to provide high quality work in compliance with the regulations and standards applicable to work on chimneys (including NF EN 13084).

MCC2I teams comprise experts (site managers and installers), who work on site and are qualified to work at height and in sensitive areas. Design engineers are also part of the team and undertake calculations and draw up plans, as well as providing diagnostics and recommendations.

MCC2I assumes responsibility when providing diagnostics or recommendations to a client following a chimney inspection. Experts are involved at each stage of the assesment process. A first diagnostic is issued from the metal fabrication specialists (in the case of metal chimneys) or the chimney engineers (in the case of brick or concrete chimneys) after site visit.

MCC2I has the ability to take on all repair work on chimney structures and flue liners, as well as work on equipments and accessories.

The types of work for which MCC2I propose services include:

repairs on supporting shell: structural works using civil engineering processes(for concrete chimneys) and metal fabrication (for metal chimneys). These works are most of the time carried out on the outside of the chimney;

repairs to firebrick or metal flue liners. These works are most of the time carried out inside the chimney.

Work on chimney accessories and equipment is carried out in accordance with

the applicable standards, including EN 14122 relating to “permanent means of

access to machinery”. This work comprises the following:

of the chimney, we provide our clients with a report including all technical

documents (such as drawings, etc.).

repair or replacement of accessories and protective equipment: lightning protection system (works carried out in accordance with the standard EN 62305-3), daytime and night-time warning;

installation and maintenance of measurement points: these works are carried out to comply to recent standards such as NFX 44-052 and NF EN 13284-1.

DEMOlITION AND CONSTRUCTION

DEMOlITION AND CONSTRUCTIONWe decommission and dismantle chimneys using state-of-the-art technology complying with highest safety standard while minimising environmental impact. We are also able to dismantle structures in sensitive environments or facilities in operation. Based on our experience and reactivity, we can make safe and demolish unsafe structures which can be a danger for people and facilities.

MCC2I, through its parent company Beirens – which has high-level expertise in welded industrial chimneys, flues, silencers and vibration dampers – designs, manufactures and installs metal industrial chimneys in accordance with the standard EN 13084 and the CE marking.

Our teams of qualified installers assemble the components on site in full compliance with the safety regulations applicable to the industry and the work at height regulations. Each chimney is a work of art built in accordance with our clients’ constraints (fuel type, site restrictions, environment, etc.).

All this equipment complies with the standards in force and in particular with

Nf EN 1808 relating to the safety requirements for variable height suspended

platforms.

Specific tools can be designed and manufactured at our Pont-Audemer site,

as well as specialist equipment required for maintenance or modification work

on particular structures (fixed ladders and platforms, sections of tubing and

sampling boxes, supports for lightning conductors, lighting, etc.).

This manufacturing capacity means that we can provide a rapid response in the

case of on-site maintenance.

In order to carry out the work, we have with a wide range of specific access equipment:

harnesses are a lightweight mean of access, allowing rapid deployment at height for internal or external chimney inspections;

suspended platforms enable more detailed inspections with several engineers on board, as well as minor repair work or repainting;

internal suspended platforms, specifically developed for heavy work in-side the chimneys. The diameter can be adjusted and they can be used to replace components inside chimneys (firebrick, metal tubing, etc.);

and likewise temporary hoists, ladders and walkways which can be used for all chimney work by all trades.
