It is aired in the morning between a certain time because of the rush hour morning traffic, and It is a breakfast advert, so if someone was passing a Mcdonald’s and the advert came on, they might pop into the drive through because they might want what is advertised and the prices are low.During the advert, the voices talk about what they usually order from McDonald’s, which, again advertises the company’s products, such as people ordering different types of hot drinks,The company name was mentioned around a total of four times including slang for the word McDonald’s by some of the accents such as ‘Maccas’ and ‘Maccy D’s’. This again is relatable as not everyone calls it by its full name, most shorten the name. It is a humorous and informal advert, as It makes the audience feel like it’s a story being told to them about how McDonalds is for everyone at anytime of the day. The end of the advert such as the term and conditions is even in slang which is then followed by the McDonald’s famous whistle, which is instantly recognisable. It is usually followed by the tag line of ‘I’m Loving It’, but it doesn’t in this case and everyone already recognises the two separate and instantly link the two together. They also mention T and C’s such as the breakfast ending at 10:30am, other than that, no other T’s and C’s were mentioned.
