The candidate is advised to be present in the venue one hour before the Commencent of his/her

counselling session. Allotment of the college will be made as per rank, communal and other

reservations and /or the availability of seats during the time of counselling. The candidate is

directed to attend the counselling on the date and time pertaining to him/her at their own cost, with

all Original Certificates as listed below:

Eligibility A pass in any recognized Bachelors degree (in any discipline) and should have obtained

Minimum 50% for OC Candidates and Minimum 45% for BCM,BC,MBC,SCA,SC & ST is essential.

Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu only will be considered for admission. However, the conditions for

other categories are given in the instructions to candidates given along with counselling applications.

If the candidate has deposited all the original certificates with the Institution where he/she has

already joined, a Certificate from the Head of Institution should be brought to that effect. In such

case only, true/ attested copies of certificates will be accepted.

Candidate coming for counselling will have to bring with him/her either a demand draft for

Rs.5300/- (Rs.1150/- in case of Tamil Nadu SC/ST) drawn in favour of The Secretary, Tamil Nadu

MBA/MCA Admissions 2011, Coimbatore 13 (obtained not earlier than 15.07.2011 and payable at

Coimbatore ) or cash. This amount includes a Non Refundable Counselling fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- in case

of TN SC/ST).

Allotted candidates will be given the provisional allotment order and receipt for Rs.5000/- (Rs.1000/- in

case of Tamil Nadu SC/ST). Thereafter the candidates have to pay the remaining fees to the college allotted

at the time of admission on the date specified in the provisional allotment order. If the candidate does not

report for admission in the allotted college within the stipulated date, he/she will loose the seat and cannot

claim afterwards. The initial amount paid during the counselling will be refunded, if original allotment order

with acknowledgement for the receipt of payment is surrendered to The Secretary, TAMILNADU

MBA/MCA Admission 2011, Govt. College of Technology, Coimbatore on or before 31.10.2011.

Selection of the college is the sole responsibility of the candidate at the time of counselling. The candidate

will be given allotment provided there is vacancy at the time of counselling. Mere attending the counselling

will not guarantee any allotment.

Those who do not bring this Call letter and the prescribed counselling fee will not be permitted for the

counselling.The candidates are advised to ascertain the Fee structure of the colleges which they propose to select

before obtaining the seat in the counselling.
