their skills to hire, manage, retain talent as well as align them with organizational goals in times of downturn as well as
economic growth.
In order to meet this growing demand for Human Resource Specialists trained in understanding business challenges as well
as the people side of business, the School of Business Management launched a two year Full Time MBA (HR) program. The
program facilitates learning in modern concepts, techniques and practices in the management of human resources and

Expertise as well as Management of Change. Participants are groomed into talented and dedicated business savvy HR
specialists for sectors such as manufacturing, retail, IT/ITes, FMCG, Banking and finance and consulting, to name a few. It
provides rigorous inputs on a selection of specially designed contemporary courses to develop the required HR specialist
competencies and the right attitude for today's business environment.
Every year is divided into trimesters. Each trimester includes courses that expose a student to not just Human Resource
management but also to different functional areas of management such as Marketing, Finance and Operations.
It also provides the students with Sector Specific inputs in the form of theme based guest sessions, consulting assignments
and projects, thus providing an insight into current people management challenges and practices. Delivered by
experienced faculty and HR practitioners, this program aims to provide a comprehensive learning opportunity to budding
HR professionals.

students to get corporate perspective on matters and also
to the industry to witness the awesome calibre of the

the most beautiful moments of their lives. We are
eternally grateful to the industry for their conviction,
continued patronage, overwhelming response &
enthusiastic participation year on year in placements &
campus engagement activities at NMIMS SBM Mumbai.
The campus is a melting pot of folks, with diverse views,
interests & perspectives leading to students getting to
embrace diversity and have a better understanding of self
and others. The campus may seem overwhelming at first
to many students due to its exuberance, but eventually
students enjoy the fast paced life, make the best use of
their moments and carve out time to go beyond
academics to pursue their hobbies, interests and navigate
new experiences leading to a truly transforming
experience.
It will be our privilege to have in our midst bright minds to
experience and relish this excellent voyage @ NMIMS
