Music Minor

A minor in music education is now available at Mayville State University! MSU had a long, rich tradition in the area of music education until the 1990s, and through the efforts of many, it’s back.

This minor has been designed to complement an elementary education major, but it could be compatible with majors such as business administration, fitness and wellness, or communication. Students pursuing the Music Education Minor must take EDUC 400A, MUSC 380, and MUSC 298.
