Members All,Summer is just around the corner! There were a lot of great happening at out Lodge in May. The Mother’s Day Ceremony & Brunch was well attended, congrats to all the Officers for doing a great job! The Meat Shoot raised over $1,800.00 for Grille Room improvements, thank you to all that helped organize it and to those who participated!! Outgoing State President Jimmy Huang had his Testimonial Dinner here on the 19th, it was a great night! Best of luck to Jimmy!! June is a busy month! On June 14th we will be having our Flag Day Ceremony and, for the first year, it will be held at Memorial Park (across from Fine Arts) at 6pm. Father’s Day is June 17th and we will be having a Father’s Day Ceremony and Breakfast at 9am. This is a new Grand Lodge Ceremony and I am thrilled we will be (finally) honoring our fathers.

The Mass State Elks Association Convention is also being held this month. There are many of our Officers going and I am looking forward to representing OUR lodge at the Convention in Hyannis.

Flag Day CeremonyThursday June 14th

Spring has finally arrived! Once again this year we took another step towards helping our veterans! We had a group of volunteers place flags on Veterans graves at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. We also had a really nice Mother’s Day service & brunch. It was well attended and appreciated by members & their families. We will be having a Father’s Day service & breakfaston June 17th. Please join us!

On June 26th we will initiate several new candidates for membership. We encourage all members to attend, especially sponsors so they can introduce the candidate to members and present their Elk pin. As a reminder, if you have not paid your 2018/2019 dues please submit them right away.Per Grand Lodge Statue 14.130 “Subject to state and local laws, the use of the Home or Club facilities shall be limited to Members in good standing in the Order....only Members who are not delinquent in payment of dues are entitled to the privileges of membership in the Order. A Member who is delinquent in payment of dues is not entitled to use the Club facilities or attend meetings of the Lodge.”

Elks Night Out!

Members all, we your “Lodge Board of Directors” would like to extend a special thank you for

the flower plantings performed again this year. It takes many hands to keep our curbside

looking Great. Thank you to D & D Farms of Stow for their generous donation of the flowers,

to the person picking up the flowers & to Dawn Moreau and her helper for the fine job planting

them and finally to the people who will water them and keep everything looking Great.

On another note it has been brought to our attention that, things are being discarded into the

Lodge dumpster that are coming from other places not from our Lodge. We want to remind

everyone that the dumpster is for Lodge trash only and anything put in there will not be tolerated.
