MayFair 2018 The countdown is on! MayFair is just around the corner. The MayFair Committee is working hard to bring this fun filled day together. Save the date: Saturday 26th May 2018 10-4pm. Have you been thinking about volunteering an hour or two at MayFair? That’s great! We want you! Please see the flyer inside for how to volunteer on the day. The BHNPS Art Show is back! Our students will be dazzling us with their talent this year. Years 3-6 are invited to enter the competition $5.00 for you first entry and $2.00 thereafter. Years K-2 will have their amazing art work on display. Check out the flyer for more info. The Green Team and MayFair are working together to reduce and recycle! We will be recycling this year! Join us! More information inside! Hmmmm there’s a few new things happening this year! We’ve decided to use more of the school grounds and extend into the Kindy Quad. We will have lots of cool
stuff happening. The K-2 student performances, Devonshire Tea, Art Show and The Sensory & Plant Stall. So come by and enjoy a cuppa with some scones while you watch a performance or admire our students creativity. The Ride Wristband Presale is on. Well done BHNPS we’ve sold over 300 ride wristbands! So, buy now before the big day as we get 100% of what’s sold! On the day we receive 20%. Presale wristbands are $30.00, on the day $35.00. The MayFair Committee is offering a special incentive! If we can reach 600 presale ride wristbands sold we will include the 3 tennis court rides! Raffle tickets: The massive 5K Cruiseabout prize is calling you! You must be in it to win it! BHNPS Green Team will be setting up recycling waste stations this year. In particular, recycling of cans, water bottles and popper drinks. Please look out for the designated recycling bins when disposing of your drink waste.
Other ways to assist in reducing waste at Mayfair can be to: • Consume drinks without straws • Place your waste in the correctly labelled bin • Bring your own shopping bags or backpack
Students are encouraged to locate a recycling station and offer their assistance to sort and bundle waste for recycling. Additional "OWLBERTS" will be given to students who register their name and stay to assist. So… when the money runs out, you are too dizzy from rides or have a spare hour, come and be a BHNPS Waste Warrior.

Calling all bakers! Whether you are just starting out, like to dabble, or an experienced
baker, you can help us make this year’s cake stall a record breaker!
Your baking creations can be anything from cakes, cupcakes, brownies,
biscuits, macaroons, slices or any other yummy goody you can think of.
