Maybe AAA Stands for Anonymous Angel Assistance
ate one night, a tire on my car blew out. I slowly coaxed my car down the
lonely country road and into a vacant lot. I’d changed a tire or two in my
time, but never in the pitch-dark.
Fumbling with the jack, I was blinded by the headlights of a car pulling into the
lot. A gentleman jumped out of his car. “You need a hand?” he asked.
“Sure do,” I said. “Thanks.”
Immediately he got to work and changed my tire in record time. Before I could
get everything back in the trunk, I heard the grinding of the gravel beneath his
tires as the man drove away—heading back the same way he had come. Now
that’s roadside assistance.
