CG Division is part of Comgat Systems DepartmCG stands for COMBAT, and the rrcrr means GUNS. At 0730 hours CG Division musters. Standingteam, plans are made for Lhe day. Ensign E. D.officer along with CWO2 Michael MaIady, inspectsand uniformity, then provides instruction factivities. Most 'of the day's work consistmaintenance in order to keep the equj-pment in topbe called upon at a moment's notice.

Malaysj-an NavalAboard!

Malaysia has an equatorial cllmate witemperature throughout most of the year. Intemperatures range from 32oC (86oF) during the dayat night. Located in the tropics, Malaysia stradChina Sea. Peninsular Malaysia is the tip ofSouth East Asia while the states of Sabah andthe island of Borneo. A constitutional monarch runder a parliamentary type democracy.

Malaysia is multi-racial comprising of 5Chinese, 10? Indian and 1t other races. IsIam ireligion, but the Malaysian Constitution guarantworship for aIl. fsIam, Christianity, Hinduism,Taoism are the main religions in Malaysia.

Malay language is the national Ianguagewidely spoken. Malaysia is the world's largestoil, natural rubber, tropical timber, tin and aof cocoa beans and pepper.

Lumut is the main naval base in MalaysiaOfficers' and Recruits' Training Center, Logisand a home port for the ships. It is located iPerak about 300 miles north of Kuala Lurnpur, theMalaysia.

LT Abdul Rahman Bin Sudin, RMN, better knownwas born 14 September 1965 in Malacca, Malaysia'and historical town. Being the eldest of 6 childrMalacca High School, a boarding school. This rlearn self-reliance at the age of thirteen yearshe joined the Royal- Military College for two yetraining in tactics, physical trainingr €ls weIlof normal college courses.

He j oined the Royal Malaysian Navy in 1 9Officer. Initially, he underwent a three monthcourse at officers' Cadet School at Port Dictransferred to Lumut for his further training. H1 985 and has served as Navigator on a Fast GunOfficer on a Patrol Boat, Correspondence OfficerShip and Gunnery Officer on a Fast Missile Boat.

Have you ever heard of Galbraith Perry Rogershe distinguished himself by flying the first airpUnited States. He made the trip from coast to coaover forty-nine days. Actually, he was in thethree days, ten hours, and a few minutes.

In the meantime he crashed thirty-nine times.unscheduled stops before he landed in Pasadena,only original parts left on the plane were the ruddrip pan on the engine.
