American Red Cross Blood DrivesMay 14 & 28, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Let's help save lives! On May 14 & 28 we are proudly partnering with the AmericanRed Cross to hold another blood drive.

The Red Cross has over 130 years of experience providing humanitarian aid -including more than 70 years of supplying blood to those in need. Each pint of bloodwe collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more!What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our communityand across the country.

LTPL Seed Library

Calling All Gardeners! The LTPL Seed Library is full of new seeds and is open forbusiness! Filled with donations from local seed savers and seed companies, the SeedLibrary has seeds for all kinds of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

All seeds are free, and all we ask is that you take only what you can use and try tosave seeds from your crops to donate back to the library. You will need to fill out aregistration form the first time you use the Seed Library, and write down on theclipboard what seeds you take whenever you visit. LTPL also has a huge selection ofgardening books to get you started when Spring finally makes a comeback!

Our guest speaker, Al Bryant will enlighten us with his program of “The Symbolism ofTombstones” . As a"taphophile" (cemetery fanatic), he will explain some of the"hidden language" found on 19th century markers, and talk about how they havechanged over the years. He will share his 20 years of taphophiliac research andexperience.

Al is a haunter of cemeteries, and a researcher for a Grand Rapids Area ParanormalGroup. He is also a member of the Odd Fellows and Masonic Lodge up in NorthernMichigan. Al is the current president of the Sons of the American Revolution. Comejoin us and meet this very interesting man - no reservation necessary!
