    Call To Repentance & Renewal

    ~ Isaiah 55:6-7 ~

    Leader: The prophet Isaiah declared,

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the

wicked forsake His way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him, and to

our God, for He will freely pardon.

Prayer Of Confession Leader: Most holy and gracious Father, we acknowledge and confess before You that our sinful natures are prone to evil and slow to do good. You alone know how often we have sinned in wandering from your ways, in wasting your gifts, and in forgetting Your love. We are ashamed and sorry of all the ways in which we have displeased You.

    ~ Silent Confession & Reflection ~

Unison: Merciful Lord, teach us to hate our errors. Cleanse us from our wander- ing ways, and forgive our sins through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Grant us Your power that we might live in Your light and walk in Your ways, according to the commandments of Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray. Amen.

The Words Of The Gospel ~ Psalm 103:8, 12 ~

Leader: I declare this sure promise: The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love For as high as the heaves are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Todays Scripture Lesson: The Anchor Of Hope For An

    Agitated Soul

    Psalm 131

    Pastor Mike Ivancic

Songs For Communion Just As I Am (I Come Broken)

Just as I am, without one plea But that Thy blood was shed for me

And that Thou bidst me come to Thee O Lamb of God, I come, I come

Just as I am, and waiting not To rid my soul of one dark blot

To Thee Whose blood Can cleanse each spot

O Lamb of God, I come, I come

chorus I come broken to be mended I come wounded to be healed

I come desperate to be rescued I come empty to be filled

I come guilty to be pardoned By the blood of Christ the Lamb

And I'm welcomed with open arms Praise God, Just as I am

Just as I am, I would be lost But mercy and grace my freedom bought

And now to glory in Your cross O Lamb of God, I come, I come

    (repeat chorus)

    In Christ Alone

In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This cornerstone, this solid ground

Firm through the fiercest Drought and storm

What heights of love What depths of peace When fears are stilled When strivings cease

My comforter, my All in all Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe

This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save

Til on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid

Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious day Up from the grave He rose again

And as He stands in victory Sins curse has lost its grip on me

For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me

From lifes first cry, to final breath Jesus commands my destiny

No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand Til he returns or calls me home

Here in the power of Christ Ill stand

It Is Well With My Soul

When peace, like a river Attendeth my way

When sorrows like sea billows roll

    Our Confession Of Faith

    ~ Philippians 2:5-11 ~

Leader: Let us confess our faith together

Unison: We believe in our hearts and confess with our lips that Christ Jesus, being in very nature God did not consider equality with God something to be grasped but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to deatheven death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.

    The Benediction ~ Romans 15:13 ~

Leader: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

    Unison: Amen!
