Highway 51 Parking Lot Project

The Board of Regents approved replacing the asphalt parking lot by Highway 51 with a concrete parking lot during its meeting on May 18th 2009

Construction should start by May 28th with substantial completion by August 7th and the punch list completed by August 14th

A Fire Lane must remain open at all times

closest to buildings, including parking between 300 and 400 building

Open a new entrance/exit from Bonner Road that is closer to Hays Hall with three lanes (1 entrance, 1 exit to left, 1 exit to right)

Close current entrance/exit from Bonner Road that is closer to 100 Building

Students and employees will need to park in Phase 2 area or in other parking lots around campus

For safety reasons, people will not be able to cross the construction area; please walk around the barricades

The parking lots by the Career & Technology Center and Visual Arts Center will be closed during Phase 1 due to road and new parking lot construction
