TRANSCRIPT
It saddens us to announce the retirement of our beloved Countryside General Manager Alice Lyle after
30 years. Alice’s last day was April 3, 2020, Alice has bee an integral part of our community for over 30
years. Alice’s contributions will always be valued and remembered. Her hard work, commitment, and
dedication will never be forgotten. Alice will be greatly missed, filling her shoes will be an almost impossible
task. We know Alice will enjoy her retirement and will stay just as busy, we look forward to relaxing with
Alice poolside and participating with all of us in our Community Events in the future.
Countryside Update Due to the recent CODVID-19 health pandemic effecting us all a lot of things across the country, state & even
in our community have changed. Kids are attend virtual classes, people are working from home, social
distancing has become an everyday phase. Per the State mandate CCCA had to close down most of the
facility in March. During this time we have had a few people stop by to use the basketball courts & tennis
courts, we have appreciated everyone following the restrictions We have had the kids riding their bikes
around both parking lot areas, we have a few families come over to have picnics in the grass area to get some
fresh air, it was nice to see the kids playing catch and just running around being kids.
On Friday May 15th we reopen the facility with restrictions set forth by the CDC. Our staff will be
performing routine cleaning during the day, we will be restricting the number of people in the pool area & the
fitness room at one time, the pool & playground will close at sundown, all members will need to sign a
COVID-19 waiver for themselves and for minor children prior to being able to utilize the facility. All guest
will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver to utilize the facility, additional pool & fitness rules are post on
property. Equipment and keys issued to member are being cleaned after being returned, all these little items
are to unsure the health & safety of our members, guest, vendors, and staff.
The Board decided the Rec Room will not be available the month of June to
reserve for parties. They will be discussing the Rec Room usage again at the
July Board Meeting.
