From 2019 Dungog will host the Dungog Tea Party, incorporating a Tea Cozy Challenge, as well as a Trivet Competition, Ceramics, Pottery, handmade tea related items, tea tastings and lots of other displays. The Tea Cozy Challenge will be located in the historic James Theatre, the oldest still running purpose-built cinema in Australia. Like Morpeth, Dungog has great drawcards such as their cultural and natural heritage and a blooming arts and crafts sector.
