Current campus combined heat and power (CHP) plant operates 137MW of power

generation and 48,000TR of chilled water

University of Texas at Austin

This 5MW CHP contributed the maximum LEED® points, pushing the entire project into the Platinum rating; features a micro-

grid.

Serves as the world’s first LEED® Platinumhospital, The CHP energy plant contributed
