Coming up ..Introductory session May 7, 2011 from 9:00am to 3:00pm

Advanced session May 21, 2011 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

What?Trainingin the followingo

The Biblical view of the sanctity of human life

o Counseling basics o Crisis intervention relative to pregnancy

o Developing good listening skills o The how s and why s of biblical confrontation

o HIV, condoms, RU-486 o The Planned Parenthood/Black American connection

o Chastity counseling o Biblical post abortion healing o The adoption option

o Counseling boyfriends/husbands o How to make a good referral

o Avoiding the Drama Triangle

o Sharing Christ with women in a crisis pregnancy plus .. much, much more!French and Spanish speaking volunteers are needed, as are male counselors. RN s andLPN s needed for our sonogram ministry. Other areas of service besides peercounseling are available.

All Gateway Pregnancy Center volunteers must show evidence of being born again,

and be attending a Bible-believing church.

When?9:00 am to 3:30 pm on two consecutive SaturdaysWeek one is an introductory class / week two- advanced training

Cost?Introductory class: $10.00 paid in advance of the class.Week number two: $15 per individual or $25 for a married couple includes training,manual, and all other materials -- even the Gateway official pen!

Complimentary lunchprovided on both Saturdays .. refreshments throughout the seminar.

Going north: Take the Garden State Parkway to exit 143. Make a left at the end of theramp. Travel through three traffic lights (Clermont Avenue becomes Ball Street). Make aleft onto Springfield Avenue. Parking adjacent to 960 Springfield Avenue Building oralong Brookside Avenue.
