Business of the Month John William Bryant, Attorney-at-Law

John William Bryant is an Estate and Trust attorney with a ten year law practice here on The Boardwalk and in Stinson Beach.

John was raised in Tiburon, attending the local Reed Union School District schools and graduating from Redwood High School. He holds a B.A. degree in quantitative economics, decision sciences, political science and Latin literature from U.C. San Diego. He attended Golden Gate University where he earned his law degree in 1996.

He studied for the California Bar exam in Bolinas where he currently lives. John is a volunteer with the Bolinas Fire Department and is active in the West Marin Community.

Prior to moving to The Boardwalk Courtyard, John worked at Moerschbaecher & Dryburgh, LLP advising individuals, families and non profits in charitable gift planning and estate planning. After ten years of estate planning on The Boardwalk, he recently relocated to Lower Ark Row at 118B

Main Street which was previously occupied by attorneys Joe Giacomini and, before him, Jim Murray.

Because of his long association with this area, John brings awareness of the special needs of his clients in Tiburon and Belvedere.

His primary practice focuses on advising families and individuals on estate planning and estate tax savings techniques. He enjoys helping individuals work with their families to develop business succession plans, wealth transfer strategies and family preservation of unique assets, including real estate.

John can be found in his Ark Row office every weekday except Wednesdays. For more information, call 435-4444 or visit www.belvederelaw.com, or contact him by email at [email protected].

Friday Nights on Main Street will start on Friday, June 5th, and run every Friday Night through Friday, August 14th. The Chamber is looking for help this year in putting on these community gatherings – donations of $100 or more would be tremendously helpful. Please call (435-5633) or e-mail us at [email protected].

Our Sixth Annual Oktoberfest will take place on Friday, September 25, on Main Street. Always great fun and wonderful beer, plus German food.

The Tiburon Classic Car Show will be held on Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Shoreline Park in Tiburon. Proceeds from this event will support local charities. The Tiburon-Belvedere Rotary Club is helping with this presentation along with Mini of San Francisco. For more information, please check www.tiburonclassiccarshow.org.

The Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society is always in need of new docents. If your passion is local history and you’d like to share that passion

with others, THIS is your big break! Docents have the opportunity to work on Saturdays and Sundays at two of four historic spots. These two sites are: 1) Railroad Ferry Museum (for the model railroad yard or at the upstairs stationmaster’s family’s living quarters), 2) SS China Cabin. Docents also are needed on Sundays at two other historic sites: The Art & Garden Center and at Old St. Hilary’s. In addition, we need to help staff the Tiburon Thrift Shop (LMS receives a percent of the income).

There’s nothing more exciting than sharing history with kids, adults and tourists – all of whom are there because they want to hear the history of the place. So, come out, volunteer and help others learn about our history. Call the LMS office, 435-1853, or go to www.landmarks-society.org.
