MasterwortSince ancient times the farmers of the Alps used its flowers, roots and fresh leaves to treat wounds, injuries, contusions. During the summers on the alps of the Swiss mountains infusions were prepared to immerge the swollen feet and get relief. The flowers and the leaves were meanwhile burnt in the stables as disinfectant.
Aloe VeraFrom its leaves is extracted a gel that has at least 160 natural active ingredients, with anti-inflammatory, alleviating, calming, hydrating, anesthetic, refreshing, cicatrizing, antibiotic properties. Locally applied it penetrates all the layers of the derma, attacking the enzymes that cause inflammation and reducing it. It facilitates the production of a collagen and improves the skin’s elasticity and flexibility. It is ideal in case of dry, cracked skin, skin’s irritations and burns, sunburns, itch, abrasions and dermatitis, ulcerative damages, wounds.

Spruce FirIts precious active principles are extracted from the buds and from the young branches of the trees through vapor distillation. The essential Oil of Spruce Fir, due to the balsamic effect of its resins, has important anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and deodorizing properties. On the skin it gives an immediate sensation of freshness reducing the fatigue and the muscular tensions. It is particularly indicated for the cracks in the skin, in the heels and the swelling of the foot because, due to the phytoncides contained in its needles, it has extraordinary antibacterial properties which can contrast the bed smells and regulate the excessive transpiration. It has a purifying and refreshing effect, it stimulates the circulation and reactivates the cellular metabolism leaving the skin smooth and revitalized.
Mountain PineIt is a powerful antibacterial, it stimulates the blood circulation and it facilitates the cell metabolism. Due to its intense fragrance, it has a very invigorating and relaxing effect. It is one of the most used plants by farmers in the Alps.
YarrowIt’s a perennial herbaceous plant, with thin roots, it grows above 2000 meters and it has very perfumed flowers. The active substances in the yarrow are the Essential Oil and the Achillein, bitter substances with invigorating, aromatic and balsamic properties.
Lemon BalmThe leaves of Lemon Balm contain Rosmarinic Acid, Polyphenolic Acids such as Caffeic Acid and Chlorogenic Acid, Flavonoids and an Essential Oil. It is known for its medicinal properties and is very appreciated as an aromatic herb. Due to the strong anti-inflammatory power of the Rosmarinic Acid and of the Beta-Caryophyllene, Lemon Balm has outstanding decongestant and alleviating properties for the skin.
